Many brides are making their own DIY name card wreaths!

Here’s a simple way to create a handmade name card wreath.

【Materials List】

✓ Paper twine

✓ Varnish (clear color is fine)

✓ Small artificial flowers or dried flowers

✓ Paper to write the guest's name (craft paper is recommended)

✓ Ribbon for tying the paper (thin type is recommended)

✓ Glue gun or bond

You can buy all the materials at a 100 yen shop ♩

Step ① Make the wreath with paper twine

First, cut the paper twine to about 160 cm to 180 cm in length and wrap it into a loop, about 4 to 6 times.

It is recommended to use a bottle or cup to avoid size variation at this stage!

Many brides tend to keep the loop diameter around 7 cm to 8 cm.

Then, wrap the remaining paper twine around 3 times diagonally.

Step ② Apply varnish

Once all the wreaths for the number of guests are made, apply varnish to harden and add gloss.

Step ③ Attach the flowers

Once the varnish dries, use a glue gun to attach the artificial or dried flowers.

You can decorate only the lower half of the wreath with flowers, or mix different colors of flowers!

This is the time to show your sense of style, so let's give it your best shot＊

Step ④ Attach the guest's name

Finally, punch a hole in the name card with the guest's name, thread the ribbon through, and tie it to the wreath to complete it＊

Some brides even used a craft paper grommet punch to stylishly DIY this step＊

※ It's fine if the order of attaching the flowers in Step ③ and the paper in Step ④ is switched.
