It has been decided that "Ghibli Park," themed around the world of Studio Ghibli's works, will open in 2022! ♡

There have been whispers about this for some time now,

but Aichi Prefecture's Nagakute City has officially announced the opening in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, bringing immense joy to Ghibli fans＊

On Twitter, Ghibli Park has been trending, attracting attention and anticipation from all over Japan starting now! ♡

Where will it be built?

The location of Ghibli Park is on the site of the Aichi Expo held in 2005, in Aichi Prefecture's Nagakute City＊

Within the park area of approximately 200 hectares (which is about 42 times the size of Tokyo Dome...!),

various areas from the creations of director Hayao Miyazaki will be established, allowing visitors to fully enjoy that world view. ♡

Basic designs have also been revealed＊

The basic designs of Ghibli Park have begun to be gradually unveiled＊

The main gate will feature areas themed after "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Whisper of the Heart."

This area is themed after "Princess Mononoke"＊

It will showcase objects inspired by the Forest Spirit.

This area is themed after "Kiki's Delivery Service" and "Howl's Moving Castle."

Based on the illustrations, it seems like ride attractions such as coffee cups will be created. ♡
