New Wedding Ceremony Feature: "Basket Bouquet Making"*
When it comes to classic wedding ceremonies, popular events include candle lighting for guest tables, where candles are lit for each guest in a "candle service," or making fruit wine together with guests in "fruit wine making," both of which are participatory activities for everyone involved.*
There are various guest-participation activities, but recently I discovered a new one! This feature is called "Basket Bouquet Making"!♡
What is Basket Bouquet Making?*
I’ll explain how to do the new wedding feature, Basket Bouquet Making.*
The bride (or groom) re-enters holding a basket bouquet (without flowers) and, while going around the tables, guests are invited to insert the flowers that were previously handed out into the basket bouquet.
Once all the guests have inserted flowers, the groom adds the final flower, completing the basket bouquet! ♡
It’s a wonderful feature where all the guests help create a happy bouquet for the bride! ♡
Some brides have incorporated a similar element to the "Dozen Roses Ceremony," where the groom holds the basket bouquet while collecting flowers from guests during the entrance and then proposes again to the bride with the completed bouquet! ♡
This can also be a beautiful touch if done in a chapel instead of a reception!♩
《Items Needed for Basket Bouquet Making》
There are two items to prepare for Basket Bouquet Making.*
① Basket
Since the flowers will be inserted by guests, it should not contain any flowers at the start. Place foams, greens, or shredded paper (commonly used in packaging) inside it to create a base for inserting the flowers.*
② Flower Parts
Prepare floral components for guests to insert. These can be placed on the guest tables as torches or positioned in the center of the table floral arrangement.
