Tokyo's Free Illumination Spot ① Marunouchi Nakadori

The Marunouchi area near Tokyo Station is a classic spot for photo shoots, not just in winter but year-round. It's especially popular during the illumination season＊

There are several streets, each with slightly different illumination designs.

This is the illumination of Marunouchi Nakadori.

About 1 million champagne-colored LED lights decorate the street trees, creating a warm and sparkling atmosphere perfect for wedding photos ♡

Otemachi Nakadori is a short street of about 400 meters directly aligned with Marunouchi Nakadori.

Here, too, many LED lights are decorated on the street trees, creating a glamorous light tunnel ♡

The Tokyo Station building is illuminated from sunset to 9 PM year-round, not just in winter ♩

This photo is from an event called "Tokyo Michi Terrace," held exclusively from December 24 to December 28.

You can enjoy a fusion of visuals and illuminations, although it might be difficult to take pre-wedding photos because of the crowd. I want to go take lots of pictures with my partner＊

The Blue Cave illumination, which runs about 800 meters from Yoyogi Park's keyaki trees to Shibuya Koen-dori, is also recommended for self-photos＊

The best time to go is around 5 PM when the lights turn on or from 9 PM to 10 PM when there are fewer people♩
