The LOVE object is a representative wedding item that many brides prepare for their wedding.

[LOVE Object DIY] Starting with the Base

First, we will introduce two methods for making the base.

Print out the word "LOVE" in your favorite font on A3 paper, sketch it out, and cut the styrofoam according to the shape＊

It is recommended to use a cutter designed for styrofoam instead of a regular cutter, as it is easier to cut.

While using styrofoam for the base is standard,

you can also cut thinner cardboard and quilt batting into the same LOVE shape and wrap it in fabric.

This will give it a softer touch＊

[LOVE Object DIY] What About the Back of the Base?

Next, we'll introduce two methods for finishing the back of the base.

Although it doesn't show in pictures, this is an area that you and your guests will actually see, so it's best to avoid leaving the styrofoam or cardboard exposed＊

Choosing white or cream-colored tape will give it a simple appearance♩

You can also apply “adhesive fabric” sold at 100-yen shops or fabric you already have using double-sided tape.

[LOVE Object DIY] What About the Surface Decoration?

Once the base is complete, the last step is finishing the surface decoration＊

Here are seven basic design patterns to consider.

The most classic method is to make paper napkin flowers and densely cover the surface with them using a glue gun♡

It looks fluffy and cute＊
