While researching wedding photos from overseas, I stumbled upon a shocking pose in a photo that I want to introduce.

I’ve seen poses showing the ring in wedding photos, but this pose with both holding up a "pregnancy test" is quite shocking.

The two photos introduced above seem to have been taken in Indonesia (in Bekasi, Jakarta and Bandung, Java Island).

Indonesia is a country where over 80% of the population is Muslim. The two women in the photos are also covered with scarves called hijabs, suggesting they are likely Muslim.

Personally, when I think of Indonesia or Islam, I have an image of very lavish weddings! However, I also had a strong impression that topics related to romance and sexuality are often considered taboo, so I was really surprised to see this photo taken in Indonesia!

In Japan, if a celebrity or blogger were to do something like this, it would probably cause a huge scandal, and there’s a general resistance to publicly displaying a pregnancy test.

However, there’s a more liberal atmosphere now, and there’s a trend to openly express love! I wonder if this pose will ever become popular in Japan...???
