Overseas Style ♡ Star Pattern Dress*
Hello, I'm Haruno Tsuzaki, the editor-in-chief of marry ♡
From the 5th collection of the collaboration dress by KIYOKO HATA × marry that I’m designing, I would like to introduce a recommended colored dress ♡
This dress is called the 'Star Dress' ♩
Hand-drawn star pattern by KIYOKO HATA.
“I want to create a stylish star pattern dress that doesn’t look too sweet or childish, like something a foreign celebrity would wear!”
I asked KIYOKO HATA for this, but it turned out to be surprisingly difficult....!
As you all know, star patterns often evoke images of “cheerfulness” and “childhood.” (They are also common in children's clothing.)
Making it stylish, cool, and graceful..... seems to have required a lot of sense,
and simply scattering existing common star patterns wouldn’t be cute enough. So KIYOKO HATA
☑ Hand-drew
☑ Calculated the shapes to ensure good balance and made them asymmetric
☑ Created a completely original glitter star pattern just for this dress from scratch ♡
The silhouette is adult-like ♡
I was particular about the silhouette (shape/line) looking as mature as possible ♡
The shoulder "yoke" (sleeve) is made narrower to give a delicate appearance to the shoulders.
The neckline looks loosely opened to create a sense of openness. (In reality, it has illusion tulle layered, so the skin isn’t visible*)
And the back is also opened big, giving an imported vibe. (But calculated so that it can still accommodate regular bridal underskirts.)
The skirt line is ruffle flare, creating a gorgeous and beautiful look ♩
You can clearly see the ruffles from the side view, right?*
An imported-style design, but tailored for us Japanese ♡
My desire to create a gorgeous dress like those overseas and
the calculations done by KIYOKO HATA to suit Japanese brides resulted in this colored dress*
☑ Ensuring too much skin isn’t visible when worn
☑ The skirt volume has a solid princess line
☑ The silhouette is New York-style ♩
A "Star Dress" unlike any other has been completed ♡ Since it has a glitter star pattern, it sparkles beautifully when worn♡
The colors available are pink, gray, and mustard ♡ The nickname is "Star Dress." The model number is "KH-0026" ♡
