Is Bridal Esthetic Effective?

When we used marry's Instagram voting feature to ask, more than half of the respondents said they are "going!" or "have used!" bridal esthetics.

When asked if they visit esthetics besides bridal esthetics, less than 20% said they regularly go to esthetics.

Even those who don't usually go to esthetics seem to show interest and start considering it more seriously right before their wedding⁂

We asked brides about their experiences♪

Experience 1: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I signed up for a 5-session bridal course, went every two weeks, and started around two months before the wedding with a budget of 50,000 yen.

I was told that not spacing out the sessions and going close together would show better results, so I thought it would be worth it and went frequently (laugh).

In the end, I felt like I lost a little weight! So I think it was good that I went!

I wouldn't normally go to esthetics unless it was for the bridal, so it was a good experience (laugh).

Experience 2: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I went for a Kōrugi treatment, focusing on a smaller face and back course. I started about two and a half months before the wedding and had a total of six sessions!

Then I also went for shaving about three days before the photo shoot, about a week before the ceremony! The Kōrugi cost around 70,000 yen for six sessions, and the shaving was about 10,000 yen.

Kōrugi was incredibly effective in just one session, and my coworkers were surprised, asking, "Did you lose weight?"

After that, as I continued to go, my décolletage and shoulder blades became very beautiful, so I’m very satisfied \( ˆoˆ )/

I also had shaving done, and since I regularly went for it every month, I was satisfied with the usual glowing results!

I had shaving done on my back and nape, and I let a professional handle the nape, and it was beautifully trimmed, so I was satisfied.

Experience 3: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I went to POLA’s esthetic once a month!

I attended the APEX Special Firming Course and Brightening Course, each for three sessions, totaling six visits. I added a back course for the last three sessions.

It cost about 80,000 yen in total. Although it was expensive, I wanted my husband to see me looking as beautiful as possible, so I kept going ☺️

After the esthetics, my skin improved, and my makeup applied so well; I really felt it was worth it!

Experience 4: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I attended a course with six facial sessions and six back treatments for three months. I was able to do both facial and back treatments together, so I only needed to go twice a month.

I didn't have a specific budget but wanted to do it simultaneously with hair removal, so I contracted at the salon where I was getting hair removal, which was about 70,000 yen.

As the sessions went on, I could see my back becoming beautiful, and during the pre-shoot, the makeup artist even said, "Your back looks nice," so I feel going was worth it!

➡ I recommend the back esthetics from Sees Lab ♡

Experience 5: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

Since I was already going for hair removal, I started going to the same esthetic to do photo facial (for face, neck) three times about three months before the wedding.

The day before the ceremony, I did lift-up treatment and shaving/whitening for my back, face, and nape ✌🏻💕

I think it cost about 70,000 yen.

For lift-up, I found many people do it a few days before because it can bruise, but since it was a trusted place, I had it done the day before!

As a result, my face became extremely small, and even guests noticed the change 😊

It was shocking that I didn’t get a double chin even when I smiled!

After the wedding, the double chin returned in less than a week, but🙄🙄, at the ceremony time, it was not there, so I highly recommend it🙌🏻

Additionally, since I did whitening on my back, I was able to welcome the day with a shiny back that wasn’t embarrassing to show!

Since it’s hard to go to esthetics often, going gave me confidence and allowed me to face the big day!!

Experience 6: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I’m not sure if I can call it bridal esthetics, but I attended a couple of sessions of a bridal chiropractic plan to correct misalignment and reduce the flab on my back and upper arms!

During the first dress fitting, I was desperate about the flab on my back, but by the final fitting, I could reduce it to a satisfactory level, even if it wasn’t perfect.

Since it was chiropractic, it was significantly more affordable than bridal esthetics, which was great!

Experience 7: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I started going for beauty chiropractic four times a month before the wedding😊 It cost about 60,000 yen🥺

I had poor posture, so was looking to improve my posture a bit and reveal my angel wings, and since I could clearly see the effects, I’m glad I went 💓

The place also provided a cavitation machine, giving the benefits of both esthetics and chiropractic—killing two birds with one stone!

Since it’s beauty chiropractic, it’s a bit different from esthetics, but it felt great and relieved my fatigue, leaving me feeling light 💓

Experience 8: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

Of course, I went to bridal esthetics! 💪💕 I already loved beauty and occasionally went for esthetics 💓

For BODY, I did a weight loss course for bridal using germanium hot baths to warm up before undergoing cavitation and radio waves focused on the upper body!

While working out with my husband for the wedding, I ended up gaining too much muscle, and the esthetician scolded me. (laugh)

After stopping my weight training, I got past the plateau, and my shoulder bones and décolletage became beautifully defined ♡✨

BODY was about six months before, and facial was three months before. It cost around 200,000 yen!

Since it was a salon focused on bridal services, they planned according to my concerns ☺️

As the date approached, skin packs for the back and shaving were also included as perks, so I think it was cost-effective 🌸💓

Experience 9: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I spent about 100,000 yen on a few sessions in the last two months leading up to the wedding! It was for upper body tightening and face care.

I also requested shaving as part of the esthetic.

Experience 10: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

Since I couldn't find time to go for bridal esthetics before the ceremony, I went for esthetic on the morning of the actual wedding!

There might be mixed opinions about going right before the ceremony, but for my extremely dry skin, the immediate facial esthetic seemed to suit me perfectly ✨

My skin was plump and brightened, making it the perfect condition to hold the wedding ceremony in the afternoon ♡

Experience 11: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I usually went to esthetics before, but after the wedding was decided, I increased my visits from once a month to twice a month.

I also received back care, which I typically don’t do, with the intention of taking care of my appearance for the wedding.

I think I spent about 150,000 yen over six months leading up to the wedding. Additionally, there was an esthetic linked with the dress shop that offered a short-term course with shaving, which I also took for about 50,000 yen.

My desire to look good in the dress was fulfilled, and I was able to enjoy a luxurious wedding preparation period, feeling happy at the same time!!

Experience 12: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

A few months before the ceremony, I asked for esthetics while using POLA’s Apex!

Including esthetics and basic skincare products, I think I spent over 100,000 yen, but my skin improved dramatically, and I became confident in showing off my arms, décolletage, and back 😌

Experience 13: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I went to a bridal specialty esthetic salon and took a course that was in the 30,000 yen range for the last two days❁ Focusing on upper body and facial.

As an option, I added two more sessions for underarm flab removal and posture correction.

I also had shaving done there! The total cost was around 50,000 yen.

Experience 14: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

For the bridal esthetics course, I started my facial and body care (including the back) from six months before to one month before the ceremony, and right before the ceremony, I had overall care including hand treatment!

Including home care products (like toner), the total came to nearly 100,000 yen, but I thought this might be the only time in my life I'd invest this much in self-care, and considering it would be captured in photos, I decided to spend the half-year making myself beautiful.

The esthetic salon was exclusive to guests from the wedding venue and friends of the bride, suggesting it was more oriented towards weddings than ordinary salons.

Experience 15: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I went to the beauty 4 salon in Shinjuku! It was around 80,000 yen for the Shinjuku store exclusive plan, but it wasn’t quite enough, so I added an extra 20,000 yen to make it a total of 100,000 yen!

I went about 7-8 times over four months! My back flab notably reduced, and my waist slimmed down, so I was happy to hear from all the guests that I looked very slim 💕

Experience 16: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I chose a course focused on tightening my arms and body, and opted for a couple's plan allowing my fiancé to join me for one session before the wedding.

I started going bi-weekly from three months before, and it cost about 60,000 yen.

I noticed that my arms and body slimmed down even without doing particular exercises, and my posture improved, making my back feel nice and sleek.

Plus, since I chose a salon that also provided shaving, I appreciated not needing to make separate appointments to go in!

Experience 17: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I wasn't planning to go for bridal esthetics, but two weeks before the wedding, I thought, "I want to go after all," and searched for options that were still available within that period!

I took a trial session plus a three-session package, so I had a total of four sessions. I was able to choose two areas to focus on.

The timeframe was exactly two weeks, and the cost was 3,800 yen for the first trial and 27,000 yen for the three-session package.

I decided quite suddenly, but considering the price was affordable and I could see tangible results, I genuinely feel it was worth it to go♡

Experience 18: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I only did Menard's facial esthetics, attending twice a month for about six months!

My skin became very glossy, and I continued even after the wedding ✩.*˚

At about 3,000 yen per session, it was cost-effective too! ‪(*ˊᵕˋ* )

Experience 19: I’m Glad I Went to Bridal Esthetics

I chose a dress that opened up to the waist, so I arranged a course to tackle back acne with the staff!

It was about 80,000 yen for a 5-session course over 2.5 months.

While I didn’t entirely clear the marks in that short time, I no longer had new breakouts, and on the day of the wedding, since I also worked on my body shaping, everyone complimented me on my beautiful back✨

I Want to Attend Effective Esthetics ♡

Esthetics should be more effective the more you go, so ideally, I want to continue regularly from now on♡

It’s hard to achieve body shaping through DIY dieting, but esthetics can provide the benefit of machines and expertise to get results, helping to absorb good ingredients.

Let's aim for the bridal look that brings joy and happiness when looking back at the photos ♡
