Recently, I asked a friend who loves trends and stylish things, "What do you think are gifts that people would be happy to receive, like wedding favors or congratulatory presents?"

I thought, that's a good point!
Placemats can surprisingly be quite expensive. For branded ones, it's normal for a single mat to cost over 2000 yen.
You can find similar designs and materials at home centers or interior shops, but if it's a gift, I want to give something "real," even if it's a bit pricier, and it's a nice feeling to touch "the real thing" every day ♡

Chilewich placemats are the most famous among overseas placemat brands, and I think everyone has them or they sell very well.
