A Special Welcome for Weddings on Rainy Days
June is the rainy season. September brings typhoons.
It is said that there are many rainy days throughout the year, particularly during the rainy season from June to July and in September.
(September has the highest rainfall)
All brides hope for clear skies on their wedding day, but the weather is known only to the gods.
It's something we can’t really control or predict in advance, but as a bride, there are many concerns like "Will we be able to have a flower shower?", "Will the garden decorations work out?", or "My bangs are getting frizzy from the humidity..."
But.
When it rains on the wedding day, what we should focus on is not our own concerns or decorations, but our guests!!
First and foremost, we must not forget to consider the guests who dress up, do their makeup, and brave the rain to celebrate with us.
It’s certain that during the welcome speech, thank-yous, and farewells, everyone will express their gratitude with something like "Thank you for coming despite the rain."
On top of that, I found a wonderful hospitality idea on Instagram that I think is amazing!
It’s having towels ready!
This is a post from the Instagram account @yuih_wd.
They prepared towels for guests, stating that since it looked like it might rain on their wedding day, guests could bring towels from home to use at the venue!
If I were a guest, having towels available to wipe down wet bags or clothes would be incredibly helpful!
It's hospitality on par with top hotels...!
@yuih_wd mentioned that they brought towels from home, but I bet many wedding venues would be willing to provide towels for guests on rainy days if you ask.
You could ask the planner, "If it rains, can we prepare towels for guests to use freely in the welcome space or entrance?"
