Do you know a place called "Makers' Base"?

It's a membership-based workshop located at Toritsu-Daigaku Station in Tokyo and at the Chiba Sogo Jenne building in Chiba. They hold workshops where you can experience making things, and anyone can participate! *

You can choose your favorite item from a list available on their website or Instagram, and all you have to do is sign up and show up on the day! ♡

The workshop is equipped with over 100 different special machines and tools, allowing you to create and take home various cute and stylish items! *

Going there with a partner or children for a date or leisure activity would definitely be fun.

I would like to highlight some items that caught my interest, thinking, "I want to try making this! This looks fun! Plus, it's useful!" ♩

Things I Want to Make at Makers' Base ♡

Cloisonné earrings. The price, including materials, is 4,000 yen!

An original skirt that you can create in your favorite pattern. You can even use hand-drawn designs or photos as patterns.

You can also create a coin purse with your favorite patterns or custom data.

Isn't it amazing that you can make a coin purse featuring your pet dog's or cat's face, or even your child's face?

A floral hand mirror made with pressed flowers and stained glass for touching up your makeup ♩

If your cherished plate or dish breaks, you can also learn "kintsugi" (the art of repairing pottery with gold) here! *

Rather than saying goodbye when something breaks, you can add a different charm by repairing it with kintsugi and continue to use it for a long time.... Isn't that wonderful? ♡

I thought to bring my favorite plate here for kintsugi if it ever breaks....

You can make wooden chopsticks too ♩ They would also make a great gift for parents! ♡

You can choose the wood yourself, picking it up, experiencing its aroma, and selecting the color and pattern. It seems you can carve the wood with a plane to shape it into chopsticks, which sounds incredibly fun—I'd love to try it!

(Plus, wooden chopsticks don't slip easily, right?....!)

A masu cup made from joinery wood. *

A spoon made by hammering tin...

A wristwatch made from your favorite materials. *

An original barrette crafted in your chosen material and shape! ♡

Making pearl accessories from real Akoya oysters, starting with extracting the pearls. *

Crafting a cutting board that can be made in your favorite shape and can also have text engraved on it. *

I Want to Go There with My Husband ♡

In addition, there are workshops for making lampshades, rings, bags, and more.

It seems like a lot of fun to create things at Makers' Base, and you can make stylish finished products.

(I thought I'd like to fill my home with things made at Makers' Base! ♡)

Chopsticks, masu cups, and cutting boards would also be great gifts for parents! *

Please check the official website as the available workshops may vary by season. ♩
