Embracing Japanese Lifestyle: A Stylish Bowl Collection Perfect for Pasta and Nikujaga
2019.08.26 published
After all, bowls are the most used.
When starting a new life, you often want to collect a lot of cute tableware, right? ♡
There are so many cute tableware options in the world that you can't help but want to buy them all...!
I also have a few dishes ready because I thought, "If I'm going to cook for myself!" But I've noticed one thing.
"Wait, I might not use flat plates that much..."
Flat plates often come in cute designs, so I end up wanting to collect them, but I only really use them when eating cake or after cutting fruit. They don't seem suitable for liquid dishes.
For staple home menu items like kinpira (stir-fried burdock root), nikujaga (meat and potato stew), simmered dishes, curry, and pasta, I put everything in deep dishes or bowls, so flat plates seem to have little opportunity to shine in my kitchen...
(Of course, there are also beautiful dishes that only look good on flat plates...!)
However, especially for Japanese home cooking, dishes with a certain depth seem to be more practical.
So from now on, I want to collect "cute bowls that do not give off a sense of daily life," and when giving tableware as wedding gifts, I plan to consider useful bowls as options.
In this article, I researched brands selling bowls that I thought were "cute and I want them! ♩"

The British tableware brand "Wedgwood" is very popular for wedding gifts.
