Here it is ♡
Various sizes of photos are displayed on a pure white wall, creating an artistic atmosphere.
Photos from dates, pre-wedding shoots, memories with guests, and nostalgic childhood pictures are showcased, making it enjoyable for guests to look at them*
Many of you might think, "Preparing so many photo panels seems difficult and expensive..."
But guess what!!
In fact, these panels can be handmade for less than 50 yen each.
The concept of photo panels often brings to mind studio options or perks when getting wedding photos taken, and they can seem luxurious and expensive. However, it seems that more people are now DIYing photo panels affordably.
Even if you prepare 50 panels, it would only cost you 2,500 yen*
So, how do you actually make them??
Let's check the materials first!*
[Materials for Handmade Welcome Panels]
① Color board from a 100 yen shop to use as the base
(A color board is a thin sheet of Styrofoam, often sold under product names like universal board or anything Styrofoam board.)
They are usually available in packs of 2 for A3 size or 3 for A4 size.
② Styrofoam cutter
This can also be purchased at a 100 yen shop.
A regular cutter will work, but a Styrofoam cutter will make cleaner cuts.
③ Adhesive or tape for Styrofoam, double-sided tape, etc.
④ Photos you want to stick to the panel
(Printouts from your home printer or at a convenience store on plain paper are fine. It costs 10 yen for black-and-white copies at convenience stores and 30 yen for color prints*)
《How to Make a Welcome Panel》
Next, let's introduce how to create a welcome panel*
① Cut the color board to your desired size.
② Print photos on paper that is slightly larger than the size of the color board.
③ Attach the photos to the color board.
Any overhanging parts can be folded under the board for a neat appearance from the side♩
④ Use masking tape or similar to attach to the wall, and it's done!*
Depending on the wedding venue, there may be restrictions on where you can attach things, the type of tape you can use, and the number of panels allowed, so be sure to check with the venue before making them*
If you use A4 size color boards, it will cost about 30 yen each, making it roughly 50 yen even including printing costs.
