What is Vara?＊

When it comes to Ferragamo motifs, there's the "Ω"-shaped Gancini (buckle) and the ribbon Vara ♡

The Vara was created by the founder Salvatore Ferragamo's eldest daughter as a motif for pumps! ♡

Made of elegant grosgrain ribbon and hardware, the Vara is now used in a wide range of items, including wallets, bags, barrettes, and key cases, but it was originally designed as a ribbon for pumps.

Salvatore Ferragamo was fundamentally a shoemaker. (Think along the lines of Christian Louboutin or Sergio Rossi! *)
