Popular group Arashi, under Johnny's Entertainment, will be on hiatus starting 2021.

From November, to connect more closely and quickly with fans, the members have started using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Weibo!♡

Among fans, what’s currently trending is the so-called Arashi-style icons (profile pictures)♩

Arashi has set a simple text-only icon common across all SNS platforms, and creating a similar image with one’s own name, known as the "Arashi-style icon," is in vogue now♡

The Trendsetter Is Aoki Genta from Nippon TV＊

By the way, the trend of Arashi-style icons was started by Genta Aoki, a well-known fan of Johnny's, from Nippon TV.

He has styled “AOKI” in an Arashi-like way＊

How to Create an Arashi-style Icon＊

The app to use is "Phonto"＊

Here are the steps for editing♩

① Start by opening a plain white image, then insert your name from the “Text” option.

② I couldn't find a font that exactly matches the one used by Arashi (they might have slightly adjusted it...!), so look for a similar font.

Everyone seems to choose different characters, but I tried using the font “Georgia Bold”♩

(If you find a more similar font or the perfect one, I would be happy to hear about it!♡)

For now, this is how it will look.

③ Next, create the shadowed light blue and purple versions of your name.

Light blue code: “#1af1f4”

Purple code: “#d620cd”

These color codes are approximately the same color.

You can input the color codes from “Style” → “Three horizontal lines on the top right” → “Pen mark”＊

④ Once you've created three names in black, light blue, and purple of the same size, just stack them on top of each other＊

Similar to Arashi's official icon, position the black one in the center, with the light blue slightly extending up and left, and the purple slightly extending down and right, to complete it♡
