Please tell me about music for wedding entrances ♡

Choosing the BGM for weddings is exciting and fun, but it can also be a point of concern.

I often hear people say, "What should I do? I can't decide!" So for those folks ♩

I asked on Marry's Instagram, "What song did you choose for the BGM at the reception entrance??"

I received responses from 35 people, and I will introduce them all♡

【Response 1】

I will go with 'Back at One' by Brian McKnight♡

The beginning of the song is impressive, and the lyrics are very beautiful, plus I haven't seen anyone else use this song♡

【Response 2】

I chose 'Himawari' by Taro Hakase.

I was moved by the refreshing intro and the sound of the violin, making it a perfect entrance song for a Japanese wedding, and it's one of my favorites 🥰

【Response 3】

It's 'Koisuru Kisetsu' by Naoto Intiharimi!

Since both my husband and I are fans of Naoto, we mostly chose his songs ❤️

We talked about wanting to use this song even before the ceremony, and since I loved it, I selected it ✨

By the way, the entrance song for the second outfit change was 'Aritake no Love Song' by Naoto Intiharimi 😊💓

【Response 4】

We played 'AM11:00' by HY! We have been together since high school and got married, so we went with HY, which is a song full of memories from our high school days!

Since many guests were also the same age, I wanted them to reminisce and think, "Oh! How nostalgic!" and I was wondering if they would hum along to a song they recognized (^^)

On the day, as expected, several friends among the guests raised both hands and swayed side to side to the tempo, singing, "So please...♪" (^^)

【Response 5】

I went with 'Shoten no Theme' from Shoten!

Even though the ceremony had a solemn atmosphere due to the shrine wedding, I wanted everyone to smile and have fun at the reception, so I thought of this song as something you would watch with family on a day off, given the theme of an "at-home and fun reception".

When the entrance song started and I heard the laughter from the guests, I got excited to enter 🤵👰

Even now, many guests have come to me saying, "The entrance song was really great!" and "When I hear that song on TV, I remember your wedding!"

【Response 6】

I chose 'Silhouette' by Kobukuro, which my husband loves.

We made a production of entering through the large windows of the reception venue in silhouette before making the actual entrance.

It's such a pleasant song from the intro to the start of the singing, so there was no other choice but this one!

【Response 7】

I went with 'CLEAR' by Maaya Sakamoto.

I used to love Cardcaptor Sakura, and I thought the timing of the song and when the door opened would match perfectly, which is why I chose it.

【Response 8】

It was 'Itsuka Kitto' by Naoto Intiharimi✨

Even though my husband and I started dating since high school, back then my parents opposed our relationship and even told me to break up eventually 💦

For us who often said, "Let's get married someday," parts of the lyrics fit perfectly, so I chose it!

Also, the fact that my husband was a fan of Naoto was another reason 🍀 Throughout our long relationship, my parents eventually accepted our marriage, and it was a happy wedding 💕

【Response 9】

It was 'Chouchou Musubi' by Aimer. It's a slow song, but the lyrics fit perfectly for a wedding, so I chose it.

【Response 10】

The song for the reception entrance was 'Wonderful' by The Beach Boys♩

My mother-in-law is a huge fan of Matsujun, and this song was used in the movie "Hidamari no Kanojo". It was perfect when the door opened at the moment the song started!!

【Response 11】

It was 'First Call' by Rhythmic Toy World!

I loved this song even before the wedding was decided and had been set on this song for my entrance at the reception.

The lyrics start without an intro: "Today is our memorable day, the first step, the morning we dreamed of is so quiet,”

This was perfect for a beginning day, and it just so happened that it was a morning ceremony, so I couldn't think of using anything else!

【Response 12】

The entrance for the reception was 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars❣️

When I worked part-time at a wedding venue in school, I actually heard this song played there, and I decided on it back then when I had no plans (laughs)

The bright and upbeat beginning creates an exciting atmosphere for the entrance, and the music and lyrics are wonderful, so I thought it would be perfect for the entrance.

In reality, we ended up entering in traditional clothing due to the flow of the reception, so I hesitated for a moment whether this song was appropriate; however, I couldn’t imagine entering with any other song, so I decisively chose this one!

In the end, I was able to enter with the bright atmosphere I imagined, and when I look back at the footage, I still smile with satisfaction 😆 I definitely want to recommend it to those who are confused about their song choice💓

【Response 13】

Entrance song → 'Itsukamo' by JAMO-SA.

The reason is that I liked this song even before meeting my husband.

Also, after deciding to marry my husband, the lyrics fit my feelings perfectly, so I definitely wanted to use it.

I wanted to choose a song that I hadn't heard at anyone else's wedding entrance, and it was easy to enter with this song.

Re-entry song → 'One Love' by Arashi.

Reason: Since the entrance song was sung by a female artist, my husband suggested a male artist's song. He liked this song. I also liked the lyrics, as they felt like an answer to the entrance song. It was an easy song to enter with.

【Response 14】

My first entrance song was 'Marry Me' by Bruno Mars.

It was used in the overseas drama Glee, and I had long wanted to use it at my wedding. It was also perfect for a natural wedding.

After the outfit change, I used the theme song from the movie Pretty Woman.

I couldn't find a song that matched my bright red dress, so the planner suggested this and it fit perfectly.

【Response 15】

I chose 'Happiness' by Sheneru 🍬

After watching the drama Last Cinderella, I had been thinking that I wanted to play this song at my wedding.

By the way, the exit song during the outfit change was 'BF' by moumoon, and I left with my sister.

【Response 16】

It was 'A KITE' by BIGMAMA!

🎵 Someday, the destined red thread stretches tight, leading to the miraculous you, the only one in the world. 🎵

It’s a song by a band that we both love. I had been wanting to do an entrance where the intro of these lyrics played, and then the door would open for our entrance! 👍💕

【Response 17】

For the entrance song, we chose 'Cinderella Girl' by King & Prince. I've been a fan for a long time, and since it was their debut song in a battle band, I decided immediately❣️

The closing song was also 'Memorial' by King & Prince❤︎

'Cinderella Girl' has a sweet, hesitant feeling perfect for when you're not sure about being in a relationship, while 'Memorial' expresses the hope that your happiness will last forever, making it perfect for a new beginning!

【Response 18】

I chose 'Lil'infinity' by AAA ♩♩

The reason I selected it is that I loved the chorus lyrics, and we decided immediately (^O^)

【Response 19】

I played 'Mugi no Uta' by Miyuki Nakajima.

My mother and I are huge fans of Miyuki Nakajima, and since it was chosen as the main theme song for NHK's morning drama, I thought many people would know it, plus the meaning of the lyrics fits perfectly for a reception.

【Response 20】

It was 'Born to be Wild' from Frozen ♡

The theme was a Disney wedding, and when I went to Disneyland with my grandmother, the event was Frozen.

Above all, it conveyed the excitement of Anna as it mirrored the first and only wedding of my life, so I chose this song 😊

【Response 21】

It was 'Strong' from the live-action Cinderella!

I was attracted to both the wonderful Japanese translation and the melody that makes you feel strong to move forward!

【Response 22】

I chose 'We Found Love' by Rihanna!

I originally loved Rihanna, and I thought the glittery brightness truly represented me.

The lyrics in the chorus, "We found love in a hopeless place," also resonated with our circumstances.

*Please note that the lyrics aren't necessarily filled with happiness, so for those who are sensitive to auspiciousness...

【Response 23】

I entered to 'Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!' by Dream Come True! The reason I chose it was because I wanted to enter with a bright atmosphere, and the lyrics matched us, making it feel like a wedding true to ourselves.

The re-entry song was 'Kimi wo Mamotte Kimi wo Aishite' by Sambomaster. My husband chose this song. It was also upbeat, and I liked the lyrics:

"I will protect you, I will love you. Even if I can do nothing but suffer, I don't care. I won't be perfect, but I swear to make you happy, and I will protect you no matter what."

I hope this helps someone!

【Response 24】

The first entrance song was 'HY HAPPY'.

The entrance song after the outfit change was 'Akaite' by BIGMAMA ✨

I love both artists, and when I first heard these songs, I thought I wanted to use them at my wedding 🥺❤️🥺❤️

【Response 25】

I entered playing 'Love on Me' by Galantis/Hook N Sling.

I love Western music and wanted a cute, catchy song, so I chose this. It had a happy vibe and was perfect.

No one had used it at the venue before, which was another point! The MV was colorful and cute, so it caught my eye ( ¨̮ )

【Response 26】

It was 'Hanataba' by back number💐

I absolutely love back number, and I decided I would definitely play this at my wedding (^^)

【Response 27】

It was 'Rainbow' by Kana Nishino!

"The future will be dyed in rainbow colors because you are by my side. Thank you, and may we be happy today and tomorrow."

These lyrics fit us perfectly; I had imagined our wedding while listening to it during our courtship, so I suggested it to my husband and we decided instantly!

After actually using it, it turned out to be perfect, and I was able to enter feeling incredibly happy♡ It's my favorite song!

【Response 28】

'Precious' by Yuna Ito 🙆

The reason is that the first movie we watched together was 'Umizaru' 🎵

【Response 29】

'Brand New Day' by Disney

It was an overseas ceremony, so we chose lyrics in English with a good rhythm. Additionally, I was proposed at Disneyland✨

【Response 30】

I played 'Kimi ni Todoke' by flumpool. It wasn't exactly my favorite song, but my husband recommended it, so we decided on it.

From the intro to the excitement before the prelude, it was a song perfect for the wedding entrance!

【Response 31】

It was 'Everybody Fucks' by Pitbull.

It was a song that perfectly represented us, and it made it easy to imagine our entrance as a party starting.

【Response 32】

'The Happiest Celebration' for Disney's 35th anniversary! It fit perfectly with our energetic vibe ⛪️♥️

【Response 33】

For the traditional garment entrance, it was 'Hissatsu Shigotonin'.

Everyone's wearing a traditional garment was a surprise, so I wanted a song that everyone, young and old, would know that could elicit a wow! and also get some laughs!

For the colored dress, I plan to change the atmosphere entirely and go with a 'Beauty and the Beast' theme.

【Response 34】

It was 'Fantillusion' from Disney 😍

I wanted to have my ceremony at an official Disney hotel, but due to financial reasons, it wasn't possible, so at least I bought the hotel’s wedding CD to play all those songs 🥰

I wanted to create the feeling of a Disney hotel, even if just a little 😂

【Response 35】

The bride loves Disney and imagined her wedding with Disney themes, so I entered to the music from the Disney Electrical Parade 💕
