Sōsuke Genda and Misa Etō Hold Their Wedding Ceremony＊

On December 23, 2020, Sōsuke Genda, a player for the Saitama Seibu Lions, and Misa Etō, a former member of Nogizaka46, held their wedding ceremony.＊

The two were both born in 1993 (currently 26 years old) and are from Oita Prefecture.

They became close after Misa, a baseball fan, interviewed Genda during the fall of 2018. Their relationship started in April 2019, after Misa graduated from Nogizaka46.

They registered their marriage in October 2019♡

Sōsuke Genda joined the Saitama Seibu Lions in 2016 and is a skilled shortstop, having won the Rookie of the Year and Golden Glove awards.

He has also been selected for Samurai JAPAN, and there are high hopes for his performance in the Tokyo Olympics.＊

Misa Etō is a first-generation member of Nogizaka46.＊

She became a staple member of the select lineup around 2014 and has been instrumental in uplifting Nogizaka. She is also famous for her amazing interactions at handshake events.

After graduating from being an idol, she has also served as a model for Bijin Hyakka.♩

The show "Pro Yakyū News," which Misa hosts weekly, was the starting point of their meeting.＊

The wedding ceremony of Genda and Misa took place at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi.＊
