You can choose from 31 types of emojis.

Emoji engraving is only available for AirPods and AirPods Pro.

You can also engrave messages on iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Pencil (2nd generation), but for now, it seems that only AirPods and AirPods Pro can have emojis engraved.
