"Delighting Guests: Letting Your Dog Feast on Cake at the Wedding - A Charming 'Dog Service' Performance"
2020.03.01 published
Wedding with My Beloved Dog ♡
Pets, especially dogs, are important and cherished family members*
It's a natural feeling to want to bring them to the wedding.
The most common dog-related performance you hear about is the ring dog.
This is when you ask the dog to bring the wedding rings to the altar during the ceremony or a civil ceremony*
However, I thought of some other wonderful performances that I’d like to introduce.
Having Your Dog Participate Will Create Lasting Memories*
One such idea is to let your beloved dog enjoy a cake during the reception, a “first bite” like no other — a cake bite for your dog♡
After the bride and groom have their first bite of the wedding cake, you can bring your dog to have a specially made doggie cake.
Unlike the ring dog performance, the charming sight of your dog munching on a delicious cake is truly special ♡
It’s also great to capture plenty of close-up photos of the bride and groom with their dog.
Two Ways to Feed the Dog*
①
One option is for one of the couple to hold the dog while the other feeds it*
This is recommended if you have just one dog.
②
If you have multiple dogs, you can place the cake on the table and let them eat it themselves while being held—this seems to be a great option*
Watching them seriously enjoy the cake is such a heartwarming sight...!
Brides with Pets, How Does This Sound? ♡
At the moment for the wedding cake's first bite, it would be lovely to have your dog partake in the celebration as well*
Your dog might feel that today is special too, noticing that their owners look cuter than usual, there are many people around, and they get to eat delicious cake...♡
Depending on the venue, this can leave memorable moments for the guests as well, so definitely consider it.
