Nino's Chosen Dorayaki "Momoroku"*

Do you know the dorayaki shop "Momoroku" located in Kyobashi, Tokyo?

Founded in the second year of the Meiji era (1872), it has over 140 years of history as a long-established wagashi shop.

The most popular dorayaki is this product called "Hitokoe."

It is read as "ひとこえ" (Hitokoe)*

This dorayaki was reportedly sent by Arashi's Ninomiya-kun to various media outlets as a marriage announcement.

Since then, it has become a popular shop among Arashi fans...!

The dorayaki sold regularly is plain, but the ones for Nino's marriage announcement featured a special "THANKYOU" text and a smiley face mark.

Also favored by the likes of Mitsuko Mori and Kabuki actors

Momoroku is well-known as a wagashi shop favored by celebrities and Kabuki actors, in addition to Nino.

(Nino may have come to love this dorayaki after trying it as a gift from someone...)

Mitsuko Mori, who passed away in 2012, was also a frequent visitor, and when she received the People’s Honor Award, she reportedly gifted these dorayaki to acquaintances.

The commemorative dorayaki for the stage play "Hourouki," in which Mitsuko Mori starred and which had 2017 performances, can still be purchased at the shop.

For over 140 years since its founding, this dorayaki has been loved for such a long time... It makes you want to try it, right?*

Three Flavors*

Momoroku's "Hitokoe" comes in three flavors:

With sweet red bean paste

With plum

With chestnut

Nino chose the classic plain sweet red bean paste dorayaki, which is the most popular option.

You’ll want to visit Kyobashi to buy it.

The dorayaki shop "Momoroku," which has continued since the Meiji era and was chosen by Arashi's Ninomiya-kun.

It's perfect for souvenirs when returning home, for meeting families, or for gifts to the workplace.

Initially, there were limits on how many you could buy, and they often sold out early when Nino announced his marriage, but it seems to have settled down now.
