Experience making your own amulet♡
Oohirasan Konpira-in in Tottori Prefecture
At Oohirasan Konpira-in, you can experience something unique.
That is, the experience of making a handmade amulet called 【Oinori Mamori】.
Amulets have a divine and noble image, but to be able to make one yourself is something new and memorable, isn't it?*
<What is Oinori Mamori?>
Oinori Mamori is,
☑ A stone amulet hand-carved by stone craftsmen from Kurashiki
☑ You can choose your favorite design of the bag and the color of the string
and create your own*
The bags come in various patterns, from traditional Japanese designs and floral patterns to Nordic-style patterns and polka dots that are unusual for amulets♡
The offering fees vary depending on the fabric; the chirimen (crepe) amulet bags are 2,000 yen, and the kimono fabric amulet bags are 2,500 yen.
After selecting the amulet bag, you can put the stone amulet and a "wish paper" where you write your own wish inside it, and have it blessed (O-kaji) by the Buddha.
Since it is properly blessed, it seems like there will be benefits♡
The Oinori Mamori takes about 1 hour to make. The reception hours are from 9 am to 3 pm, and there may be days when it is not available, so be sure to check the website in advance*

A chic green floral amulet.
Three patterns: maru (ball) pattern, floral pattern, and Nordic-style stripes and dots* It would be nice to go with a friend and have matching string colors♩
A navy and red polka dot amulet. This is a design I want to share with my partner♡
A refreshing amulet with floral patterns and a green string. Choosing a pattern similar to those on a furisode or iro-uchikake (formal kimono) is also wonderful*
