Help from Pre-bride Just Before the Wedding!
A message came in to marry's Instagram from a bride one week before her wedding.
Here’s the content.
***************************
The wedding is just around the corner. I've been working hard on my diet to look beautiful, but I haven’t reached my goal figure 😭
One more week. Is there anything I can do in this last stretch...?
***************************
✅ Things you can do in the last week.
✅ Things you can do to improve further.
✅ Things that can be improved based on your mindset on the day.
Indeed, it seems that the more knowledge you have, the more advantageous it becomes.
We'll introduce all the experiences and advice collected through marry's story ***

I also couldn't manage to lose weight 😂
When I pulled my arms tightly to my body, my flesh got squished and looked thicker, so I tried not to squeeze my armpits too much 🐷
Also, I wanted to get rid of puffiness, so I did a self-massage for my face every day 😂
【Response 2】
I was six months pregnant at my wedding 👰 With pregnancy, there are restrictions on esthetics, and I didn't lose any weight at all 😭 lol
At least for my upper body...‼︎ I focused on:
✅ Face correction
✅ Watching live videos of my favorite band and waving my arms
✅ Doing face, collarbone, and arm massages whenever I thought of it
✅ Face masks every day after a bath
✅ Reducing salt intake and drinking plenty of water
I stuck to these! I also recommend getting to bed early the night before since I was sleep-deprived from nervousness!
For face correction, I watched a YouTube video by a beauty chiropractor called "Massage for a Smaller Face in 3 Minutes" every day!
I also massaged flowing from my jawline to my collarbone and went for various face massage sessions at least once a week from about three weeks before the wedding.
【Response 3】
I'm not sure what aspects you were focusing on while dieting, but standing with good posture makes you look beautiful.
Also, the fat around the shoulders is the most noticeable, so just doing shoulder circles to loosen around the shoulders might make a difference.
Additionally, draining the lymph nodes around the collarbones, lifting the face, and maintaining good skin condition are important!
But the most important thing is to eat well, get plenty of sleep, and greet the day in good health and spirits!
【Response 4】
You mentioned one week left, but is the dress fitting alright?
Fasting and substitution diets can be effective in the short term, but they carry the risk of skin problems and health issues, so I do not recommend them just before the wedding.
Given the current times, it's best to get proper nutrition and prepare for the day. I think massages for puffiness care are good.
【Response 5】
I spun my shoulders around, and somehow they became thinner. (I think there will be individual differences.)
【Response 6】
Relying on invisible body slimming.
(Be careful of blue spots on your arms; it's better to consult about body shaping if you can avoid them.)
Then, until the day before, stick to red meat and green vegetables, and eat plenty on the morning of the wedding‼️ If you don’t eat in the morning, you won’t enjoy it and will feel exhausted.
You won’t instantly gain weight just because you have breakfast. Haha
【Response 7】
I recommend cutting out salt!
The difference in appearance is huge with or without puffiness✨
【Response 8】
As long as your face looks small, I don’t think you’ll be perceived as overweight!
There are plenty of things that can have effects on your face in just one day!! I think it’s worth trying beauty acupuncture or face correction!
Also, making body illusions with body shaping and doing massages every day to make your shoulder blades and collarbones look beautiful would be good.
One more week, please give it your all for the final push☆
【Response 9】
Posture and face… 😂 I wish I had worked a little harder…
For the face, I think it’s good to use a roller for a week to see quite a change. If you do it, I think you will see a lot of improvement…
【Response 10】
If there’s only a week left, I think it’s best not to impose a strict diet and just stick to your usual skincare to avoid skin problems!
On the day, rather than pulling your chin down, try to imagine a thread coming from your crown pulling you upward while maintaining good posture💡
If you squeeze your armpits too much, your upper arms will look plump, so it’s better to pull your shoulders back and create some space from your body! (I unconsciously squeezed my armpits during the cake cutting photo and regretted how it made me look thicker, haha)
Although I was careful, looking back at the photos from the day, I regret seeing shots where I was slouching! So for the next week, try to develop the habit of sitting up straight, and on the day, puff out your chest more than necessary! 👍
Have a great wedding 👰🤵
【Response 11】
Focus on massaging your upper arms and face!!
【Response 12】
I couldn’t work hard on my diet either 😂 But I thought a smile is important, so I tried to keep smiling the whole day 💕
Also, absolutely do not let your upper arms stick together! (Keep your armpits open!!!)
Your arms will look slimmer!!
Also, I held my back straight and puffed out my chest 😊 I discreetly hid the areas I was concerned about with my bouquet.
Maybe it was because of that? I didn’t appear too thick in the photos, and I managed to hide it well👌🏻✨ Haha Enjoy yourself 🙌🏻
【Response 13】
To appear slimmer, I recommend avoiding puffiness!
For this week, keep salt intake low and avoid alcohol.
Drinking plenty of water and swapping out the water in your body also seems to help you feel fresher 🙆♀️
【Response 14】
Constantly being conscious of your posture will make you look beautiful!
During the ceremony, I squeezed my shoulder blades together, lowered my shoulders and kept my neck from jutting forward, and I made sure to open my arms a little♡ Imagining to make my neck look longer◎
When bowing, instead of rounding your body, try stepping back with one leg and bending your knee from your waist to achieve a pretty posture!
【Response 15】
While paying attention to my diet, I massaged the visible areas like my upper arms and stomach!
A week is enough for a change!!
【Response 16】
Good evening 😊
For a short-term diet, I tried the "salt-free diet" for two days, and I recommend it!
I ate and drank meals low in salt, and while sugar is okay, I went from 40.4 kg to 39.3 kg 😍😍
I gained weight during pregnancy up to 53 kg, but after childbirth, I dropped to 45 kg...
I started dieting in preparation for the wedding and could reach 40 kg, but it wouldn't drop any further.
I was maintaining when I had my pre-wedding photos, so I thought I'd give it a try and it dropped remarkably in two days!😍
I ate white rice and indulged in sweets, so maybe I could have lost more 😂💦 I ended up losing weight while eating more than usual, and I really recommend it!♡♡
【Response 17】
Create shadows with body shaping to make it look like you’ve lost weight!
【Response 18】
Cleansing juices and to avoid fatigue, chicken breast or tenderloin, minimal salt, and no caffeine. I think it makes a huge difference in reducing body puffiness 😂 Also, bathing is a must! I actually did this!
【Response 19】
To brides who didn't reach their goal figure.
I did everything I could, but I don't think I was incredibly thin by general standards! lol
However, I received many compliments from the guests who came!
After seeing multiple weddings and posts on Instagram, I realized that looking "beautiful" isn't just about weight or thinness.
The most important thing is posture!!! No matter how thin you are, if your posture is bad, you won’t look good. Why not try stretching to help improve your posture?
Also, to look a bit slimmer in this last week, I suggest reducing carbohydrates and salt intake.
You might regain weight once you revert to your usual eating habits, but by reducing water weight, you can appear temporarily slimmer!
But since this is a short-term solution, I don't recommend sustaining it for too long from a health standpoint. I hope you can greet the day in the best condition!
【Response 20】
On my wedding day, I focused on not letting my upper arms stick to my sides! If they do, they look thicker 😅
Also, I tried to keep my chest puffed out ♬
【Response 21】
Sudden weight loss seems impossible, so my enemy is puffiness!! 😩
I think it’s important to watch salt intake, drink fluids, take half-baths to sweat it out, and massage! 🥺
【Response 22】
I cut out wheat a week before the wedding and dropped 1.5 kg in the last stretch!
【Response 23】
Koryo!!!! I highly recommend it! 🏋🏻
I squeezed and toned before the pre-wedding photos but got a bit careless and gained weight again, but I managed to return back before the ceremony.
Even so! Just two sessions of Koryo right before the big day made a marked difference in my shoulder area and jawline…✨
While esthetics are good, I think Koryo, which addresses bones and muscles, is particularly effective for enhancing appearance! Please do try it…!✨
【Response 24】
I had a two-day lasting esthetic treatment the day before the wedding!
It makes quite a difference whether you do or not!
【Response 25】
On the day, maintain a beautiful posture!
I instructed the photographer to watch to see if I had a double chin 😝
【Response 26】
On the day, I focused on keeping good posture and pulling my shoulders back without hunching over, and ensuring my arms were open without squeezing my armpits!
My upper arms didn’t get squished, and they looked slightly slimmer (laugh).
Also, having a genuinely happy and smiling appearance while enjoying the day is really beautiful 💗
Get enough sleep and look forward to the big day with a bright face! ☺️
【Response 27】
Try not to eat at night as much as possible. And I’m sure that naturally, you will feel pressured from two days before and lose weight 😌💕
【Response 28】
As long as your face looks small, I don’t think you’ll be perceived as overweight!
There are plenty of things that can have effects on your face in just one day!! I think it’s worth trying beauty acupuncture or face correction!
Additionally, creating illusions with body shaping, doing daily massages, and showcasing your shoulder blades and collarbones beautifully will help as well!
One more week, give it your all for the final stretch☆

✅ Salt-free
