Unique Reception Performance Idea 3: Kagami Biraki (Opening a Sake Barrel)

The couple wore traditional attire for their color change and decided to perform Kagami Biraki.

Instead of sake, the barrel was filled with chocolate! Kiss chocolates with original seals.

This performance was planned to ensure that guests who don't drink alcohol would also have fun.

After Kagami Biraki, they did a table round with the barrel. They poured chocolate into masu (square cups) prepared on each table with a ladle.

Of course, kids among the guests would be delighted, and adults would feel childlike excitement too♡

They also prepared wrapping bags on the guest tables, allowing guests to take home the distributed chocolates as small gifts.

An idea to prepare a jewelry box for each guest table.

During the table round, a small key was used to open the boxes.

A dress color guessing quiz during the dress change. Usually, the couple draws cards with guests' names from a lottery box to determine the winner…

This bride used a "spin seating chart"!

She drew a juice illustration with a straw on the spinning seating chart and colored the straw in five different colors.

The holder of the spinning seating chart with a red straw, just like the bride’s colored dress, would win.

A unique performance where the spinning seating chart held from the reception became a color guessing quiz!♡

Additionally, the background music for the bride's entrance had a clever connection.

They entered to aiko's song "Straw," which includes the lyrics, "♩So that nice things happen to you, today I’ll give you a red straw."
