"I Don't Want the Same as a Few Years Ago: What Exactly is a 'Trendy Bouquet Nail'?"
2020.03.31 published
I might be a little tired of the classics.
This nail art.
This is a photo of nail art I did about 3 to 4 years ago, where I
✅ made a bouquet with pressed dried flowers
✅ created a ribbon with gold wire to tie the bouquet together.
This kind of nail art has been trendy, or rather a classic, for several years now, and recently I've been feeling a bit like "this seems a little outdated..."
(Is it just me.......??)
When the same ideas and designs are not updated, they can look old, so I believe it’s always necessary to make small arrangements or approaches to capture the moment and change it a little bit...
How about you all???
In this article, I'll be sharing nail art I found on Instagram that I thought, "This might be a little new ♡" or "This could be fresh even now ♩."
Spring is the season that makes you want to do bouquet nails... but how about trying a different bouquet nail this year than last year? ♡
A somewhat modern and fresh bouquet nail feature ♡
<1>
The flower part is still made of pressed flowers, but the hand-painted ribbon is cute.
The big ribbon being loosely tied is adorable and has a different look from the classic design.
<2>
All hand-drawn flowers ♡
The white lines and the glittery flower parts are stylish ♡
It looks like an illustration from a flower shop poster, and it's lovely ♡
<3>
The ribbon part is made of aurora film.
The tall bouquet shape looks somewhat like lunaria and is stylish.
<4>
Flowers made with shell flakes instead of pressed flowers ♡
The shiny shell surface is wonderful ♡
<5>
A bouquet with just three tulips (in yellow, orange, and red!) is cute and feels very Korean ♡
The simple hand-drawn touch is also subtle and lovely.
<6>
The ribbon part is changed to a metal piece in the shape of a ribbon.
<7>
Instead of a large bouquet crammed with flowers, it has an airy look with just three small flowers ♡
I currently love this kind of ephemeral style ♡
I want to update popular nail art too ♡
Bouquets made with dried flowers on nails have been popular for several years now.
They’re cute with a natural and botanical feel, but being such a classic makes me think, “Sure, it’s cute, but it feels like I’ve seen it so many times already...” “If I don’t change the design, it might lack freshness...” I’ve started to feel that way...!!!
However, if I can make a little arrangement, it can feel fresh and even cuter, so if I can brainstorm some updates, that would be fantastic ♡
In classic and traditional designs, I want to cherish a sense of “my own style” and “up-to-date feeling,” as I feel about everything I do. ♡
