Wrap yourself in Something Blue with Jill Stuart♡
Get ready to be excited with cosmetics that bring a sparkling world view into your sight*
On April 24th, JILL STUART will launch a limited edition collection inspired by the saying that Something Blue brings happiness to brides, called Something Pure Blue♡
This is the third installment of Jill's Something Pure Blue collection♡
This time, it’s a limited edition collection inspired by the “Blue Ribbon Shower” which brings wonderful connections♡
The collection features adorable blue ribbon details, making it exceptionally cute**
Before the launch, I had Mr. Hattori from ceu use the products*
This is a special project for marry!
We had makeup artist Yukiko Hattori from ceu, who has gained attention among brides, create bridal makeup with the pre-launch Something Pure Blue collection*
Speaking of Hattori, she is not just a hair and makeup artist but a “multi-sensory producer” who handles everything related to weddings, including bouquets and accessories.
With Hattori’s touch, she creates wonderful hair and makeup tailored for each bride, ranging from slightly exotic vibes to girly styles.
I am looking forward to seeing how she finishes the look with Jill Stuart cosmetics, which embody the concept of innocent sexy♡
Model, let’s do our best*
Here is the model for this session.
This photo shows her in a nearly bare-faced state.
How wonderfully will Hattori finish the model using Jill Stuart cosmetics??
We had her do two patterns of makeup♡
First Pattern*
From bare-faced to a stunning transformation!♡
While keeping Jill's cute atmosphere, it conveys a sense of mature femininity♡
The exquisite use of color creates a pure impression that perfectly suits pure white ♡
The cosmetics used are as follows♡
Here's how they were applied*
[Hattori's comments]
The dress design covers the upper part of the décolletage with lace, so I kept the makeup understated and neutral with beige to avoid clashing with the dress design.
For the concept of Something Blue, I also incorporated blue flowers into the bouquet and hair.
By using a “subdued purple,” I aimed for a sophisticated finish.
I applied the hydrating Something Pure Blue My Lips, followed by a brown lip color.
Something Pure Blue My Lips brings out the natural tone of the person's lips and gives a lovely color. However, since it can blur the lip line, I defined it with a darker lip color.
Since the eye color is kept natural, I used a bold blush. The point is to apply the blush lightly and diagonally without concentrating it in the center, which keeps it from looking childish while adding a mature touch.
Furthermore, since the overall look was diffused, I used a firmly black eyeliner instead of brown to create contrast and add definition.
Second Pattern*
And here’s the color change♡
We created another pattern for her makeup*
This time, it’s a bit more avant-garde♩ It exudes sexiness while feeling like a sophisticated, elegant look for adults♡
The model’s slightly languid and alluring expression looks even more wonderful♡
The cosmetics used are as follows♡
Here's how they were applied*
[Hattori's comments]
I stepped out a bit from my usual image of Jill Stuart and aimed for a makeup style that is “unlike anything before,” with a slightly mature mode.
I created a sensual look by applying plum-like shades of purple-brown eyeshadow on the outer corners and beneath the eyes.
Since the accessories and dress were sparkling, I focused on creating a shiny makeup look.
I linked the glamorous world view of the Something Pure Blue packaging with the shimmering vibe of the dress, makeup, and head accessories♡
Bold, avant-garde makeup can be divisive, but using shadow to add depth instead of drawing a line helps create a softer mode, which I highly recommend.
Since the makeup is leaning toward a mode style, for the hair, I created a youthful balance with waves in the bangs, adding a touch of innocence.
Available for limited release from April 24*
Here are the Jill Stuart cosmetics that Hattori also used.
This is the full lineup of the Something Pure Blue collection♡
Not to be missed, Something Pure Blue My Lips♡ (2,800 yen excluding tax)
It’s a blue lip product that changes to pink with the warmth of one’s lips, a tint type that becomes “your unique lip color.” How lovely is that?*
Thanks to the tint effect, it sticks well even over time, making it perfect for long-wearing at wedding ceremonies!
The floral cap actually has a mirror, making it a delightful point for everyday use♡
You can also have names engraved on the lip product exclusively in the official online shop* The color of the engraving matches the collection’s Something Blue theme♡
➡ Check the engraving details on the official online shop!*
I'm also interested in the Eau de Parfum, Crystal Bloom Something Pure Blue (6,050 yen including tax)*
Among Jill Stuart's popular fragrances, this one has the purest scent overflowing with happiness, making it a fragrance perfectly meant for cheerful brides♡
It captures the soft transparency of a wedding veil and the pure fragrance of a floral bouquet♡
We also spritzed it in the studio for filming♡
Pre-orders are now available♡
The Jill Stuart Something Pure Blue collection will be released on April 24, and pre-orders are currently very popular*
The final spice that makes brides shine is confidence♡
While the way of applying makeup and its finish are important, ultimately, it’s the mindset of “I feel beautiful♡” that makes brides look lovely and graceful♡
“Jill Stuart cosmetics create a sparkling world that raises your spirits just by being in sight. It's a brand that supports you on your best day," Hattori shared*
This limited collection created by Jill Stuart is filled with wishes and blessings for brides to have “wonderful bonds that become stronger.”
It’s perfect as a talisman cosmetic for yourself, and also a great gift idea for your friends, so be sure to check it out♩
