"27-Year-Old Disney Fan: Here’s How I Would Incorporate Disney Elements into My Wedding!"

I Love Disney, but What About My Wedding...?
I Love Disney ♡
I'm from Chiba Prefecture, and my family home is about a 30-minute drive from Disneyland. I have so many memories packed into my cherished visits to Disney with my family, friends, and boyfriend, and my dream is to someday experience a Disney Cruise Line*
Despite my love for Disney, when it comes to "decorating my wedding with Disney items," my feelings change.
I adore Mickey, Minnie, and all the princesses, but since I'm 27 now, I feel like there’s no need to prominently showcase "I love Disney!" by decorating the welcome space with plush toys or wearing a princess-like dress...
(I also want my boyfriend's colleagues and relatives to think, "He married a calm and elegant woman" rather than "He married a cute, bubbly girl!")
That said, as a Disney fan, I do have a desire to subtly incorporate Disney elements in a less conspicuous way...!
In this article, I would like to share ideas and items for incorporating Disney elements into a wedding, for those who want to integrate Disney in a subtle manner*
I hope these suggestions are helpful for brides who wish to incorporate Disneyland in a more understated way.
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ①
An idea to use Disney stamps on wedding invitations. If the contents, like the main letter or sticky notes, are Disney-themed, people might think, "Is it a Disney wedding?" But using stamps can be cute and stylish, so it seems like a good choice.
I want to send formal invitation letters with celebratory stamps for relatives and company associates, but I’d like to give my friends invitations adorned with multiple overseas antique Disney stamps as decorations♡
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ②
I also want to try embroidering the wedding date on ear hats and taking wedding photos. I will focus on the ear hats without showing faces. I wish to have a slightly darkened and faded chic look and display this subtly in the welcome area.
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ③
An idea to place figurines of the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White where the petit gifts or escort cards are. They are small, so they won't stand out much, and since they aren't princesses or main characters, it feels less Disney-ish.
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ④
An idea to incorporate Disney in the decorative paper of the invitations. With decorative paper, it won't be too noticeable, and it might bring a smile to find a hidden Mickey*
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑤
I'm not sure if this is considered an accessory, but it would be cute to photograph Mickey-themed accessories within the bouquet♡
I have a pair of memorable earrings that my boyfriend bought for me when we went to Disney together, and I want to include them in the photograph.
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑥
Mickey and Minnie kissing on the sole of the heel♡ Since it's a hidden part, I want to go all out with a lovey-dovey design♩
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑦
This is an invitation design for the wedding. Mickey and Minnie are kissing in a cute design, but it's done in a pencil sketch and monochrome, so it doesn’t come across as overly "cute ♡," which is what I like most*
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑧
Writing Peter Pan on an acrylic board with white Posca for table numbers. The clock tower and fairy dust make the world representation really impressive* Inside the lantern, there’s Tinkerbell...!♡
There’s a solid Disney world feeling, but since there are no plush toys, it gives an elegant impression.
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑨
An idea to take a photo with a pearl necklace shaped like Mickey♡ This way, I can take a photo without needing to prepare any special items, as I can just use my own necklace♩
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑩
Embroidering blue Mickeys on the hem of the dress as "Something Blue"♡ This is an idea I’d like to try once I purchase my wedding dress*
Subtle Disney Wedding Idea ⑪
Guest table decorations inspired by Toy Story. The key point here is that instead of just placing the figurines as is, they’re painted in gold*
If I Were to Have a Sophisticated Disney Wedding ♡
As a 27-year-old Disney fan, I shared the ideas and items I would like to incorporate into my wedding if I were to include Disney elements*
Even for those who might think that a wedding heavily featuring characters or princesses is a bit much... I believe they might find these subtle inclusions acceptable and delightful♡
Of course, if I incorporate all these ideas, it will end up being overwhelmingly Disney-themed, so it would be best to select 2 or 3 key elements to include♩
