From Disney to Arashi: A Compilation of Free Entertainment Videos Now Available on YouTube!
2020.04.15 published
YouTube is overflowing with entertainment.
Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, various companies are making efforts to make our time at home a bit more enjoyable! As a result, valuable videos that we usually can't see are being made available for free on YouTube.
From Disney to Arashi live performances♡
I've compiled various videos to introduce to you.
① Disneyland "It's Very Minnie!"
"It's Very Minnie!", a program centered around Minnie Mouse, was held for a limited time from January 10 to March 19, 2020.
Footage from the show has been released as a special video on the official channel♡
Disneyland had to close from February 29, so this program, which was slated to be a limited-time event, is often referred to as a "phantom show" since it could not be run until the end.
As this show is only accessible through a lottery, it's incredibly gracious that we can view it on YouTube like this♡
② DisneySea "Fantasmic!"
The video of "Fantasmic!" which began its performances in 2011 and was a hallmark nighttime entertainment at DisneySea, is also currently available for viewing♩
Originally, this Fantasmic! was set to conclude its nearly 9-year run on March 25, but due to COVID-19, it couldn't be performed till the end...
However, thanks to this upload, we can watch that grand and immersive 22-minute show at home anytime, which is wonderful♡
You can also enjoy footage from angles that you usually can't see. (How luxurious!)
③ Arashi "untitled"
A concert video from Arashi's tour "untitled," which took place from 2017 to 2018, is also available for a limited time♡
It's incredible that you can enjoy a full 1 hour and 52 minutes of Arashi's concert, often referred to as "the pinnacle of live performance," for free!
When this video was released, "#LoveArashi" trended on Twitter.
Matsujun also commented on his Instagram story, saying, "I thought there might be some negative comments if I uploaded the live footage, but not at all! Arashi fans are amazing!"
Arashi during the live performance has a different kind of coolness compared to watching them on TV or in magazines♡
④ Sanrio Puroland
On the official Sanrio channel, incredibly rare videos showcasing characters cleaning the park, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of staff members during the closure, are being released.
In fact, Sanrio Puroland was one of the first theme parks to close for the safety of its guests.
The message, "Even though we're closed, we are still here," resonates deeply in these times.
⑤ Avex
Avex has also been releasing live footage from its affiliated artists for a limited time*
Approximately 100 pieces of content seem to be released sequentially!
✅ Ayumi Hamasaki
✅ Ai Otsuka
✅ Do As Infinity
✅ AAA
✅ TRF
⑥ Horipro
The major talent agency Horipro has released storytelling videos of Japanese folktales read by its affiliated talent*
Although these recordings were not made during the COVID-19 period but were recorded a long time ago, they were re-uploaded with the hope of being of some help to children who are unable to go out.
Featuring luxurious actors who excel in movies and dramas, these narration videos are easy to listen to and genuinely entertaining.
✅ Haruka Ayase "The Mouse's Marriage"
✅ Satomi Ishihara "Broad Beans, Straw, and Charcoal"
✅ Tatsuya Fujiwara "Treasure Compare"
⑦ Cirque du Soleil
Lastly, a special approximately 60-minute video from the Canadian circus "Cirque du Soleil."
Cirque du Soleil is famous, but perhaps not many people have fully watched it for 60 minutes...??
The thrilling and breathtaking performances are incredibly stimulating*
I want to go see the performance live in Japan again after the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
I hope you can spend an enjoyable time at home, even just a little.
With our living range restricted, the everyday life that once was seems no longer a given.
While we continue to endure days of restraint, I am reminded once again that the entertainment we are interested in truly enriches our hearts*
I hope everyone can spend a slightly more enjoyable time at home*
At marry, we also plan to consecutively release KIYOKOHATA×marry dresses on YouTube, so be sure to check it out♡
