Three Beauty Items to Help You Get Through the "Three Nots" Period: No Going Out, No Playing, No Shopping

How is the self-restraint on going out going???
Recently, with department stores, station buildings, and commercial facilities all closed, and work being done remotely, I've found that my time spent at home has increased drastically.
There’s a slogan going around saying "Let’s enjoy our time at home," and while I certainly want to make the most of it, the current situation where it’s difficult to casually go shopping is tough...
I really think about wanting to return to normalcy, to go out and eat at restaurants... every single day.
(When I'm at home without going to the office, I notice all the cleaning and tidying that I haven’t done, and I feel the urge to do housework and work simultaneously, which results in both being imperfect, and that's stressful...)
However, it seems that it might take about two more years to contain the coronavirus... and it feels like the road ahead is quite long.
I’ve always recognized that I have a very self-indulgent nature, and if I wanted to, I could indulge myself endlessly. So, every day I consciously try to "live beautifully" by taking a shower each morning, doing my makeup, and changing my clothes...
(If I didn’t, I might not even want to take a bath...)
Even in this demoralizing life of self-restraint, I strive to look presentable and to be seen as "cute at home" by my husband...!
As I can’t go to nail salons or hair salons right now, I'll introduce some beauty items that are effective for staying home.
① Gel-like Nail Polish
Many nail salons are currently operating under restrictions.
The situation where salons are closed makes it difficult to get gel nails... and it seems like this will continue for a while.
It’s okay to just take off the gel and spend time with bare nails, but having a "who cares, I’m at home and won’t see anyone" attitude... might destruct beauty from within.
To keep my heart beautiful, for me, putting on nail polish helps maintain my calm.
Nail polish has recently become a trend even in our office, and I recommend this polish that looks like gel nails with its glossy colors.
(Some people have even said their husbands prefer the simplicity of just nail polish over the art done at salons.)

The colors are mostly muted tones and glossy colors, so even with just one color and no art, it doesn’t feel depressing.
② Henna Color
My hair has been growing out significantly, and the roots are starting to look uneven...
I chose an ash color last time, so it's beginning to look like I have blonde highlights, which concerns me...
However, going to a salon feels awkward, and using a cheap home dye would likely damage my hair...
I was feeling hesitant about that, but then I remembered the existence of a "treatment and henna color" and have started to use it when I notice the color fading.
The black part at the roots seems hard to dye, but the tips get colored properly. While it doesn’t perfectly replicate nuanced colors, it’s much better than just letting the color fade away.
(I mix black and brown to avoid getting pure black from just the black dye or looking too light with just the brown.)
It seems the hair gets infused with nutrients because it feels smoother and more pleasant to use compared to using just regular treatment.
③ Comfortable Bras for Home
Room bras are an essential item during time at home, aren’t they...???
While I can tolerate "just wearing loungewear at home," the idea of "going braless all the time" makes me feel like, above all else as a woman living with (my beloved husband), I need to maintain some standards and can’t let myself go...
That said, wearing a wire bra with relaxed clothes feels bothersome, so lately, I've been wearing trendy nursing bras.
They feel like actual bras and supposedly help prevent sagging, which gives me peace of mind. It’s said that once they sag, they don’t bounce back, so I think it’s important to be mindful of this...
(If this self-restraint and remote work life continues for 3 to 5 months, and I were to be braless every day during that time, my breasts would sag dramatically...)
