"Absolutely Unbreakable: Amazing Ideas for Using Padlocks as Ring Pillows"

Discovered an Amazing Ring Pillow!
While searching for wedding items from around the world on Pinterest, I found an amazing ring pillow!
Take a look ♡
It’s an idea where the rings are threaded through the loop of a "padlock" (formally called the "shank") to create the ring pillow.
(It seems they thread the rings onto the padlock for safekeeping at the time of purchase.)
Wedding rings symbolize the vow of eternal love.
I feel the messages of "I will absolutely not lose them until the ceremony," "I will not wear them until the exchange of rings," "firmly solidifying our relationship," and "Our relationship becomes open through marriage."
I am also someone who prefers not to wear the wedding ring until the ceremony, so I thought it was interesting to store them like this instead of just leaving them aside after purchase.*
It Sounds Fun to Create a Ceremony with It ♡
Using this padlock ring pillow for a ceremony is also wonderful.
For example, the groom enters holding the padlock.
The bride enters with the key attached to her bouquet ribbon, and before exchanging rings, they unlock it together. It cannot be opened unless they are together! ♡
Alternatively, the padlock could be placed on the altar beforehand or carried by the ring bearer/ring girl, with each of the bride and groom entering with the same key.
The bride could adorn her bouquet with it, while the groom could attach it to his boutonniere; that’s stylish.
Prepare two padlocks:
- The groom holds the padlock with the bride’s wedding ring on it.
- The bride holds the padlock with the groom’s wedding ring on it.
Exchanging the keys to each other's padlocks sounds nice too! ♡ (Please don't lose the keys...!)
What Kind of Padlock to Prepare?
A standard gold padlock is fine, but a slightly larger type that allows the key to be inserted vertically is stylish.
Let's have the couple's names or a message engraved on it! ♡
There are services to engrave items purchased at home improvement stores, and Loft in Shibuya and Ginza offers engraving services for purchased items, so I recommend it.*
