"Reservation Required: Report on My Visit to Cartier's Bridal Fair to Buy Wedding Rings"

I Went to Cartier's Bridal Fair*
Hello, I am Nagisa from marry.
The other day, I went to Cartier's Bridal Fair to buy wedding rings!
When it comes to bridal fairs, there is a strong image of “events regularly held by wedding venues,” but bridal fairs by jewelry brands are not held every day.
(Somehow... it seems that lower-priced jewelry brands hold them about once or twice a season, while high-end luxury brands hold them about once a year.)
During the bridal fair period, you can receive original goods as perks, and depending on the brand, there may be a discount, making it a lucky opportunity to buy rings at a great price ♡
Cartier's bridal fair is not widely advertised on their website or in-store; it is something you can only apply for if you have been invited by a staff member or know about it.
(I discovered its existence for the first time by seeing a post on Instagram from someone who attended Cartier's bridal fair!)
Apparently, at the bridal fair, you can have your photo taken and receive some sweets, but since it is quietly conducted without major announcements, there isn't much information available online...!
Since gathering information before going was quite challenging, I hope my report will be helpful for those planning to attend in the future ♡
I also received a financier collaborating between La Maison du Chocolat and Cartier as a souvenir. The packaging features a couple of Cartier's iconic “Panthère” cuddling together ♡
There are three sets of simple cards and envelopes embossed with Cartier’s engraving. It would be lovely to write a bride's letter on this letter set for the wedding*
These are the four perks I received at the Cartier bridal fair I attended.
While the same rings can be bought anywhere, just by reserving a bridal fair, I received perks such as photos and a jewelry pouch, making me feel special like a VIP.
The content of the perks varies by store and timing, and in the past, there were reports of passport cases, ring cleaning kits, and collaborations with HIGASHIYA for yokan being offered as perks*
There are two ways to attend Cartier's bridal fair.
① Staff members invite you at the store
② Make a reservation yourself
I found out that some people learned about the bridal fair from staff while looking at rings at Cartier, but it seems that you won't necessarily be invited just because you go to the store.
(I've been to Cartier several times to look at rings, but I was never approached about the bridal fair.)
So, I directly called the dedicated engagement and wedding ring number and inquired about making a reservation for the bridal fair.
When I asked, I was informed that Cartier's bridal fairs are held once a month at each store and require a reservation. When you tell them which store you want to visit, they provide the upcoming dates.
It seems that bridal fairs are often held after regular business hours on weekdays. I called in early January, but the January and February bridal fairs were already fully booked, so I reserved for March.
Although it is not widely announced, the fact that it was impossible to secure a reservation for the next two months indicates it's best to book early.
Additionally, I was informed over the phone that Cartier's bridal fair is “based on the premise of purchase.”
It’s important to note that this isn’t something to casually attend; you should go with the premise of “making a purchase.”
By just pre-registering, I received numerous perks at Cartier's bridal fair.
It is also referred to as the "Cartier Mariage Salon."
Since it takes place after normal store hours, I could carefully look at the showcases without other customers around (especially the bridal floor on the third floor of the Ginza boutique is always crowded...), and I had the joy of selecting rings while sipping champagne ♡
The experience of purchasing wedding and engagement rings turned into an even more special event ♡
If you've decided to purchase a ring from Cartier, please inquire about the bridal fair as well*
