I had a question I wanted to ask too...!

A bride has consulted with marry*

Here is the content.

******************************

I just got married, and I'm a newlywed!

Soon after we started living together, a stay-at-home order began, and it’s the first time we’ve spent such long hours under one roof together while both working remotely. I’m not used to it.

The thing I’m most curious about, although it may not be related to the stay-at-home order, is what other brides are doing with their hair at home in the evening.

When I lived alone, I used to put all my hair up in a bun with my forehead exposed, but I can’t show my husband that look yet... 😢

Everyone, what kind of hairstyles are you wearing at home in the evening while in your pajamas or loungewear...???

******************************

This question also sparked excitement among marry members with comments like, "I’m also curious about that...".

It’s not something I usually get to talk about with friends, and I haven’t really seen how they look at home, so I’m really interested in how others manage it.

This time, someone even sent in actual night-time photos to share, so I will introduce them!

(It's at the bottom of the article!)

【Response 1】

I’m a newlywed in a similar situation too!

An acquaintance told me, "Don't let go of your femininity once you start living together," so I’m trying to mix it up a bit with buns, French braids, and ponytails!

I also ask my husband, "How about today’s hairstyle??" to keep him aware (laughs). But I do let my guard down sometimes… lol

【Response 2】

When we just started living together, I used to take a shower, put in some nice-smelling oil, dry my hair, make it silky smooth, and pin my bangs with cute clips. 😂❣️

Since my hair was long, I sometimes tied it back with a no-mark hair tie when it got in the way. (^o^)

After about a month or two, I started focusing more on comfort than cuteness, though… lol

【Response 3】

Before taking a bath, I wear an all-back bun and Adidas tracksuit.

After the bath, I let my bangs down and braid my hair like Elsa 🙆‍♀️ to prevent frizz since I have curly hair.

I’m wearing totally casual pajamas. lol

【Response 4】

What a cute concern! 😍

I also wear an all-back bun! I was worried the first time I did it, but once I let it go, I've gotten used to it now. 😆

But I at least make sure to do my eyebrows naturally, wear tinted lip balm, and if it’s a day off, I try to wear cuter loungewear so I don't lose my feminine touch. 😊❕

(Although I’m bare-faced after a bath)

【Response 5】

It’s been 9 months since we got married! I’m fully in pajamas, with a topknot and no makeup. 🤣 This has been the case before and after marriage too. 🤣

I felt guilty for asking such a highly feminine question to my husband... lol

【Response 6】

I’m also a newlywed, but I tie all my hair back with a rubber band and clip my bangs with a clothespin... (laughs)

I’m letting go of my femininity (laughs)

Clothespins don't leave marks like clips, and they hold well even if I have a lot of hair, so I recommend them… 😂✨

I twist or braid my bangs, and if I fluff up the bun and secure it with a scrunchie or clip, I think even an all-back bun can be cute! ❤︎

【Response 7】

I’ve only been married for a little over a year, but it’s pretty bad! 😂

I’m a stay-at-home mom with a 0-year-old, and I always tie my hair back and stay in my pajamas all day if I don’t go out!

I only have one or two cute summer pajamas, and the rest are just t-shirts and UNIQLO shorts.

And the T-shirt designs are terrible too. lol I’ve got Dragon Ball Frieza and One Piece character shirts. I haven’t worn makeup for over a month now, and I only shape my eyebrows once a week. 😅

I never worried about showing my bare face before, but since my child was born, I care even less. 😂

My husband also wears weird t-shirts, so we’re pretty laid back about it. Living stress-free is the most important! 👏

【Response 8】

I have short hair, so I either tie up my bangs or wear a headband. 😂

My loungewear is either a Uniqlo sweatshirt or an oversized t-shirt. 🙏

【Response 9】

I was super cute with this question! 😳💓

When I first started living together, I either blew out my hair neatly and wore it down, loosely tied it at the back, or braided it since it was super long. 💓

Now I usually tie it all back, so it’s nice to remember how I looked when we first started living together. 😳💓

But since we’ll be together for a long time now that we’re married, I hope to gradually be able to show my comfortable style!

I think your husband would find it fresh and cute to see you with your forehead out and in a bun! 😳💓💐

It’s still tough with the stay-at-home orders, but let’s all do our best to get through this COVID situation! 💪

【Response 10】

I do a simple ponytail. 😅 It hasn’t changed since I lived alone!

When my current husband was my boyfriend, it was the same when he stayed over!

【Response 11】

I feel the same way! We dated for a little over 2 years, but we just got married and started living together in March.

I’m not concerned at all, and I’ve been exactly the same style as I did at my parents' house since the beginning (laughs).

I wear Uniqlo loungewear and my old class T-shirt, with my hair casually thrown up and my bangs pinned to the side exposing my forehead. (laughs)

【Response 12】

My hair is medium length, and my bangs go down to my chin, so I tie all my hair back into a ponytail-style bun (I don’t pull all the hair through the hair tie completely, just the last bit). Sorry if that’s unclear!

So I’m all up with an exposed forehead. For clothes, I wear my work clothes after coming home and change into a t-shirt and sweatpants or shorts after a bath.

Sorry for my lack of femininity! 😂

【Response 13】

I’m also in my first year of being newlywed, but I’m growing my hair out for the ceremony, so without needing to send a picture, I’m sporting a bun with my forehead exposed too. 😂

It’s too cute that you’re a bit embarrassed about it… 😌

But I’m confident my husband will also love my non-made-up self, so during this stay-at-home order, it’s totally fine to be bare-faced and wearing frumpy clothes! 😂

I’m sure your husband feels the same way! I might have exaggerated with that confidence though... 😅

My husband doesn't really care about such things, so I think that helps me feel safe to show my true self!

That said, I do want to avoid getting complacent and letting my femininity drop... for sure.

【Response 14】

I’m in my worn-out tracksuit, bare-faced, and my hair is in a messy bun 🙂 lol

If we’re family, we can't worry too much about appearances, right? (Unless my husband is extremely conscious about his looks).

I think it would be tough to continue maintaining a beautiful wife image for the next 60 years. 😴

【Response 15】

What an adorable question! 🤤💕

I wear GU pajamas and have my hair up in a bun. 😊❤️ I’m sure he’ll say you look cute even like that! 🥰

【Response 16】

I’m also newly married and in my second month of living together, and I’m bare-faced with my forehead exposed. lol

But I make sure to have days where I wear cute loungewear or even do my full makeup at home to feel stylish too. ✨

My husband loves my sweat-dress.

【Response 17】

I was initially worried, but since working remotely, we’ve been spending so much time together that I realized I can’t keep it up, so I just tie my hair back like I used to when living alone. lol

My husband likes it and tells me my bun is cute, which helps me feel comfortable showing my true self. 😂

【Response 18】

It’s been six months since I got married. 🌿 I’m wearing the matching GU Snoopy pajamas that my husband and I bought together.

After a bath, I let my hair down and use a massager to relax.♩

I'm not good at hair arrangements, so I always just do a ponytail. Here’s a photo! It’s the only one I have where my husband took a picture of me goofing around... lol

I miss that fresh stage! 😮!

I either leave my hair down or clip it half up with a hairpin!

I think establishing a relationship where you feel comfortable exposing your forehead is the best! ✨

We have fun wearing matching pajamas! I don’t think too much about my hairstyle and just do what I want. 🙄

I don’t really like to dry my hair, so if I don’t do it, my husband tells me to dry it. That’s the only thing I listen to him about.

But if I worry about my hair at night too, I think it would be tiring and stressful even when we’re together all the time!

I almost always have my hair in a ponytail at home, day and night. I just gather it with my hands and shape it, but I change the hair ties a bit for some variety.

I’m the type who wants to look my best at home to boost my mood!

Here’s a look at how I sometimes look 😳

I’m bare-faced and wearing glasses. lol

At first, I made sure to look cute… but soon my true self came out. If we’re living together long-term, you need to accept each other, or you’ll get stressed out. lol

Now, as soon as I get home, my hair goes up. I take out my colored contacts and wear slouchy sweats. 🤓 I spend my days off like that. I’m such a mess. 🤍

But that might be why when I get dressed up for going out, my husband always acts like he’s seeing a beautiful woman for the first time and he compliments me a lot. (♥´꒳`*)(*´꒳`♥)

Anyway, I’m a total mess at home, haha.

But at first, I wore cute clothes I had never worn before, and I gradually adjusted!‼️

I look forward to showing him a comfortable version of myself. 🤍

I feel a little more at ease....!!!

I used to think that beautiful people must look beautiful inside their homes, so I’m relieved to know that “everyone becomes casual at home, even in front of their beloved husbands”!

I hope the person who asked the question feels relieved too…!

Thank you for the great question.
