"My Guardian Flower: Margaret" ♩ Is There a Flower Field Where Only Margarets Bloom Somewhere in Japan?
2021.05.10 published
Marguerites are so cute, aren't they? ♡
White and yellow flowers that bloom from November to May: Marguerites*
The flower language symbolizes "lover's fortune," "true love," and "trust."
They are small and cute flowers that can often be seen at flower shops and around town ♡
They are also popular materials for wedding bouquets and decorations*
By the way... I wonder if there are marguerite fields?
I was curious if there’s a field covered with marguerite flowers... If there is, it must be absolutely cute, and I want to visit it ♡ So I did some research,
and I found one in Kagawa Prefecture!
Kagawa - Flower Park Urashima*
The marguerite field is located in a place called Flower Park Urashima in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture. It is a municipal flower garden that is free to enter from sunrise to sunset.
(Currently, due to COVID-19, entry is prohibited until May 31)
Mitoyo City is the number one producer of marguerites in Japan.
The marguerites bloom from late April to mid-May at Flower Park Urashima, where you can see about 5 million flowers at a glance ♡
Not only white ones are blooming, but also pink and blue marguerites*
They are incredibly cute, aren't they? ♡
Enjoy the islands of Setouchi too*
The great thing about Flower Park Urashima is that you can see the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and islands beyond the marguerites.
It looks open and the air seems refreshing ♡
The marguerite field illuminated by morning light is this beautiful!
I want to visit the marguerite field next year*
The marguerite field in Kagawa - Flower Park Urashima ♡
A flower field where only marguerites bloom on such a vast scale is really rare, isn't it?
(When I looked it up, there seems to be another place called Iihama Marguerite Picking Garden in Izu, but it's indeed rare!)
This year, the park was closed right during the peak blooming season due to COVID-19, but it’s a flower field I want to visit sometime after next year**
