Hokusai's Ukiyo-e on Passports ♡
Recently, the new Japanese passport has become a hot topic on Twitter, with many saying it's stunning and they feel proud as Japanese people!
The new passport features designs from Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" in the visa pages ♡
It has a uniquely Japanese and stylish design, doesn't it? ♡
In fact, this change has been in effect since February 2020, but many people might still be saying, "I didn't know!"
By the way, the previous visa pages had a simple design with just text on them*
Different Designs on Every Page ♡
The new passport has one artwork from Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" printed on each spread, with 24 pieces for the 10-year passport and 16 pieces for the 5-year passport*
Of course, the globally famous "Red Fuji" (Gai-fū-Kai-sei) and the dramatic "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura) are included!
All pages feature different artworks, which also serve as a countermeasure against forgery. It certainly seems difficult to forge such delicate Hokusai paintings...!
The final warning section includes a hologram of cherry blossoms. Depending on the angle, the blossoms appear beautifully ♡

This clear case features the particularly famous "Gai-fū-Kai-sei" and "The Great Wave off Kanagawa," designed to complement the color of the passport cover*
Pairing the red 10-year passport with the Gai-fū-Kai-sei case transforms it into Red Fuji ♡
Pairing the blue 5-year passport with the Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura case results in powerful waves!
Using this passport case allows for a stylish match between the inner design and the cover ♡
