Hidden Gem: Introducing a Stunningly Affordable Jewelry Store with Sparkling Diamonds Inside the Imperial Hotel!

For Everyone Searching for an Engagement Ring♡
Surely, only a select few know about this now.
However, I found a jewelry store with a deep history and prestige.
It is the jewelry store "Salon de H" located inside the Imperial Hotel.
Just by being inside the Imperial Hotel, it gives a high-class impression...
But it's not just an “impression.”
When I researched Salon de H, I realized that it is truly “amazing.”
First of all, it was founded in the late Taisho era.
It is a jewelry store that has been running for three generations. It has history.
The second-generation president was honored for his contribution to the development of the industry and was awarded the “Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.”
(The "Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays" is an honorable medal established by Emperor Meiji. It is given to those who have served the country.)
The current president is the chairman of the National Association of Gem Dealers.
The world they live in is so different that I encounter many unfamiliar terms, but it strongly conveys the message, “this is truly amazing.”
I think if I were just living my ordinary life, I would never have had the chance to know about such a high-level jewelry store.
But thanks to Instagram, I was able to learn about it. I felt grateful to the internet!
Why I wanted to introduce it on marry*
Salon de H is a very prestigious jewelry store, and until now, I thought I lived in a different world from this one—too distant...
However, as I followed them on Instagram, I was shocked to see that sparkling rings and necklaces featuring diamonds, emeralds, and rubies were surprisingly affordable!
For example, this sparkling flower necklace is 550,000 yen.
“Wait!? This size and amount of the diamond for this price!?” I was astonished.
Of course, it is still a relatively expensive price, but it doesn't feel completely out of reach—it's a price range that seems attainable if I try hard enough.
I realized that I could buy diamonds that are many times larger for about the same price as buying a branded ring, which is fantastic for someone like me who doesn’t stick to brands!
(After all, Salon de H is indeed a store from a prestigious company...)
Their Instagram account states, “Since the late Taisho era, we have inherited the craftsmanship and heartfelt dedication of artisans, and we aim to provide high-class jewelry of the highest quality at reasonable prices through direct sales from the manufacturer.”
Oh, I see, jewelry stores are different from brands, offering reasonable prices through direct sales from manufacturers...! I learned something new.
It's refreshing to see prices on Instagram!
What I found interesting while looking at Salon de H’s Instagram was that each post of their jewelry included a price.
Gem prices vary with the market rate, and due to the nature of diamonds being one-of-a-kind, it's usually challenging to specify prices. Therefore, it’s rare to see clear price tags like “this ring is this amount!”
(Especially in the case of engagement rings. The price changes depending on the size and individual characteristics of the diamond you choose.)
I understand the reasoning but often think, “I want to know the approximate price…”
Even when I go to jewelry shops, the prices are often hidden, and if I don’t ask, they won’t tell me, so as someone who lacks the courage to approach the store staff, I often end up not knowing the prices at all...
In Salon de H's posts, many prices are clearly listed, which clears up that uncertainty and gives a sense of reality, making it enjoyable to look at*
Here are some selected highlights♩
<1>
1.660 ct / 700,000 yen
<2>
1.080 ct / 500,000 yen
<3>
0.919 ct / 350,000 yen
<4>
0.942 ct / 330,000 yen
<5>
1.140 ct / 500,000 yen
I want to visit at least once!
Buying first-class jewelry from a first-class, historically rich manufacturer (and at reasonable prices!) is truly a dream store for women who love all things sparkling♡
It feels more appropriate to call it "jewelry" rather than "ornament," exuding a sense of weightiness, yet seeming solid and trustworthy*
I learned that with the same budget, buying from a jewelry store gives you more choices in design and volume compared to purchasing from a well-known foreign brand in Ginza.
Salon de H is located on the 3rd floor of the Imperial Plaza, attached to the Imperial Hotel*
I would like to propose a date where we have afternoon tea or lunch at the Imperial Hotel, check out the jewelry, and take a stroll in Hibiya Park... to my husband next time♡
