The Slow Motion Video of the Dress is Adorable*
Have you ever seen a video of someone in a wedding dress moving around filmed in slow motion?
Marry's dresses have many slow-motion videos posted on Instagram and TikTok...♡
If you haven't seen slow motion before, be sure to check it out♡
The sparkling and fluffy feeling is conveyed so realistically...!
How about the slow-motion videos of the dresses...? Aren't they amazing...??
- The sparkle of the jewels and sequins,
- The fluttering of the skirt and its three-dimensionality,
- The visual appeal from front, back, and sides,
There are so many details that can be conveyed more realistically and vividly through slow motion that you can't grasp with photos or regular-speed videos. ***
The pacing makes it interesting as a single piece of footage,
and it has an immersive feeling, like a scene from a movie or a moment from a commercial.
(Definitely check this out too♡)
I'm inspired to try filming slow-motion videos of dresses!
How to Make Slow Motion Videos Later*
However, it feels a bit daunting to ask someone to film in slow motion during a dress fitting or on the wedding day,
and for the person filming, slow motion can be challenging because they're not used to it.
That's why in this article, I'll introduce a way to make slow-motion videos from the footage stored on your smartphone using a certain app.
There are several apps that can change the speed of videos, but the most famous one, which is easy for beginners who aren't accustomed to editing or processing, is this one.
It's the app "InShot."*
The way to use it is simply to tap the speed you want for the video you wish to slow down.
"0.20×" is the slowest speed, making it easy to understand, but fine adjustments can be made too.*
A tip for creating slow-motion videos is to keep the speed normal for the first few seconds and then switch to slow motion.
(This makes the slow feel stand out more♩)
By pressing the "Split" button, you can divide one video into two, so if you lower the speed of the latter part of the video, it will gradually slow down, which I recommend.
Please take a look at the slow-motion videos I made!*
①
Here’s a slow-motion video where the speed was reduced from the start.
You can really see the sparkling texture of the dress!♡
②
This is a video of the bride spinning, split into three parts, gradually reducing the speed*
The speed was finely adjusted.
③
Lastly, this is a slow-motion video capturing the moment of extending the train.
If it were at normal speed, it would end in an instant, but in slow motion, you can enjoy the sparkle and the flowing feeling of the dress for several seconds, which is lovely!♡
Create Slow Motion Videos with InShot*
With the InShot app, you can easily create slow-motion videos of dresses.
