"Draw Balloons in Your Own Way with the App! Playing with Hand-Drawn Balloon Editing Ideas*"
2020.12.03 published
The idea of hand-drawn balloons is cute.
I found a processing idea that I thought was amazing!
It’s a photo with a lot of hand-drawn balloons added to a location photo against the sky.*
A simple wedding photo transforms into a colorful, cute atmosphere.♩
I actually tried drawing it with an app.*
You can create hand-drawn balloons with a free app, so I challenged myself to do it!
The app I used is called PicsArt, specifically the paint feature.

(I think it can also be done with apps like ibisPaint!)
①
Once you open the paint feature, draw several circles that will become balloons, changing the colors as you go.
It’s easier to zoom in for detailed work.♩
Adjusting the transparency and using lighter colors to create a soft effect makes it cuter.
I used this pen that is 12th from the left.

Next, layer on top and draw white outlines over the balloons.
Instead of drawing the balloon outlines completely, the key is to make them interrupted.
For the string below, extend it as if you're holding it by hand.*
When drawing the outlines, I used this pen that is 1st from the left, setting the size to about 1-3 and zoomed in while drawing.
Here’s what I completed!
Here’s a version where I added text above the drawn balloons as well.♡
I highly recommend trying this processing idea in location photos!*
Having a lot of real balloons in a wedding photo is very festive and wonderful if you can actually take it, but
there are practical difficulties and many might feel that you don’t necessarily have to go to such lengths...
However, if you just draw balloons on location photos with hand-drawing, the possibilities are endless!♡
Especially for those who like drawing or are already into processing, it should result in stylish and fitting photos.
Please give the hand-drawn balloon processing a try!*
