I Tried It Myself＊

Inspired by the idea of making bonbon candles with ice balls, I decided to give it a try myself.

The flavor I bought is Japanese pear.

The standard flavors of ice balls are grape, Japanese pear, and pink grapefruit, but I chose one that is close to an off-white color.

My impression after actually trying it was, “It’s hard to balance, even though you just stack them!”...!

Since they are round, they easily lose their balance and fall off, and

touching them with my fingers made them melt quickly, so it was a race against time. (I assembled them inside the refrigerator.)

After struggling for about 5 minutes...

Ultimately, it was difficult to maintain balance with a 3×3 cube, so I made a mini-sized bonbon candle in a 2×2 arrangement.

Although it’s a bit lopsided, I think it’s cute enough to enjoy my time at home, so I’m satisfied♩

Using vanilla ice cream as an adhesive might allow you to stack them neatly, so I recommend trying that.
