How to Purchase from BHLDN② Order Process

After adding the desired items to your cart, proceed to checkout.

Input your name, country, prefecture, address, postal code, and phone number in English.

It's basically the same as Japanese online shopping sites, so you shouldn't be confused.

On the next page, the total cost including handling and shipping fees will be displayed.

Shipping involves both handling and shipping fees.

Handling fees depend on the time it takes to ship, while shipping fees depend on the total amount of the purchased items.

Additionally, when I tried it with an actual Japanese address, there was an additional $100 as "Additional Shipping Charges" for international delivery.

It's advisable to expect around 20,000 yen in shipping-related costs in addition to the product price.

*Due to COVID-19, there are some countries where delivery is not available, but it seems that delivery to Japan is currently proceeding without issues.

How to Purchase from BHLDN③ Order Completion

The expected delivery period will be mentioned in the confirmation email sent after placing the order.

Processing an order can take up to 48 hours, so if you haven't received any email or if your purchased items are not reflected in your account after two full days, you need to contact customer support.

Once your ordered items are shipped from BHLDN, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

If you purchase multiple items, they may be shipped separately.

Furthermore, it's possible for items to go out of stock or be back-ordered after an order is placed. In such cases, you will be informed of an approximate shipping date, so it’s advisable to keep checking your confirmation email instead of assuming everything is fine at the order completion stage.

Also, since product prices do not include customs duties, you may be charged for customs when the products arrive.

For personal imports, 60% of the product price is subject to customs duty.

The tax rate varies by item—8.4% for dresses, 20% for shoes, and 5.2% for accessories. It’s important to be aware that this can vary based on the material and design.

A word of caution: since shipping and customs will incur additional costs, expect a few tens of thousands of yen beyond the product price, and remember to order well in advance due to international shipping.

The delivery time can also fluctuate due to weather and international circumstances, so it would be wise to allow at least a month for delivery.

Can You Return Wedding Dresses from BHLDN?
