The Butterfly at the Summit of Paris

There are beautiful things that I've long yearned for, but have been unable to reach for.

Baccarat's crystal butterfly, the "Lucky Butterfly."

I was deeply moved when I saw it on the table at the restaurant "Epicure" in the Bristol Paris.

(To be precise, I went to this restaurant just to see this...!)

The hotel Le Bristol Paris is a genuine top-notch establishment that was the first to receive five stars in Paris.

Epicure, which is the main dining venue of the hotel, is reputed to be the best in Paris. It is, of course, said to be the best in France as a Michelin three-star restaurant.

Each table has a Baccarat Aurora Lucky Butterfly resting on it, alongside flowers.

(Officially, it's referred to as Irise Clear, not Aurora.)

Epicure inside Bristol Paris is truly a chic and elegant place that embodies the image of Paris.

(But it was bright and friendly, and there was absolutely no heavy atmosphere!)

It was my first time seeing the actual Baccarat butterfly, and because I was in such a place, it sparkled and looked even more special.

For me, the Baccarat butterfly became synonymous with "the wonderful thing at Epicure in the Bristol Paris," and it became a memory of the lovely ambiance and hospitality in Paris!

After that, since it wasn’t far, I went to the Baccarat Museum and saw the Lucky Butterfly in the shop there, thinking "I want it...!" However, it was priced at around 35,000 yen, and I couldn't muster the courage.

Years have passed since I couldn’t buy it, but every time I passed by a Baccarat store, I would think, "That butterfly is cute..." and recall, "Ah, it’s the butterfly from Bristol Paris..."

Occasionally, I would see a post on social media saying something like "I received this as a gift!" and I would think, "How envious... what an amazing gift to give..." and my yearning kept building up.

Maybe I could give it now...!

Recently, when I heard that there are many brides canceling their weddings due to COVID.

While that is sad and disappointing, it made me think, "Maybe a Baccarat butterfly would be just perfect as a wedding gift..."

I started to feel excited about whether now is the perfect opportunity to gift someone a butterfly!?

The customary cash gift for a wedding is around 30,000 yen, and the Baccarat Lucky Butterfly is about that price.

The Irise Clear is priced at 35,000 yen, but other colors are around 25,000 yen!

In fact, there are people who have said, "Even though I canceled my wedding, receiving such a special gift from a friend made me incredibly happy. It’s a treasure!"

Things like this are luxurious items that are hard to splurge on for oneself, but if you own one, it's a lifetime treasure.

It’s a beauty that I’d want to display and cherish forever as an Old Baccarat butterfly, through the years.

If you want to give a cash gift equivalent to the cost of a wedding present,

and prefer to give a physical gift instead of cash...

I think the Baccarat Lucky Butterfly for 25,000 yen is just perfect! What do you think?♡

It’s a wonderful recommendation for those who want to splurge on a happy gift. I believe the receiver would feel truly blessed!

I also have someone around me recently who has something to celebrate, so I’m thinking of gifting them the Baccarat Lucky Butterfly with my heartfelt wishes!♡
