"Gathering of Three-Year-Olds from All Over the Country! There's a Station Called 'Sansai Station' in Nagano!"
2020.09.16 published
There is a station I’m curious about*
Such as Koiyamagata Station (commonly known as Koi no Eki) in Tottori Prefecture and Fukubukuro Station in Hokkaido.
There are several famous places where the station itself has become a tourist attraction, but right now, what I'm most curious about is this one.
"Sansai Station" in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture*
It's pronounced as it is, "Sansai Eki."
Sansai Station is a small station on the Shinano Railway's Kita-Shinano Line.
However, because of its name, many families visit Sansai Station on their child's 3rd birthday to take commemorative photos♩
Sansai x 3 years old♡
The sign with the station name "Sansai" seems cute enough by itself, and it looks even cuter when a 3-year-old stands below it.
(Bringing along a big balloon is also amazing♡)
With a ticket in hand*
It seems you can borrow a hat similar to what the station staff wears for commemorative photos.
There are also people who visit for their dog's 3rd birthday*
Someday, I want to go there when my child turns 3♩
It seems that Sansai Station is engaged in the "Welcome Sansai Child Project," which collaborates with the local government.
Members take photos around the station, guide visitors to nearby tourist attractions, and sell commemorative goods.
It's very evident that they are welcoming 3-year-old children from all over the country!*
Sansai Station is about a 3-hour drive from Tokyo Station or about 2 hours by train after taking the Shinkansen to Nagano Station and transferring to the Shinano Railway.
I think it would be an incredibly joyful and fun memory for kids who love trains.
When my child turns 3, I definitely hope everyone will also visit this place♡
