This Hana Sakari-n is made by a company called Kamon in Iga City, Mie Prefecture.

The vibrant colors of the karinto use no scientific coloring agents whatsoever.

All the colors of this flower are made using natural food colors from vegetables and other sources＊

There are six flavors: spinach, purple sweet potato, pumpkin, tomato, black sesame, and plain ♩

The frying of the flower shapes is done by skilled artisans instead of robots.

Each thin petal is carefully fried one by one to ensure they don’t break and open beautifully.

According to those who have tried it, “It’s crispy and crunchy, not oily despite being fried. Being so thin, everyone in the family, from children to the elderly, enjoys it, and I buy it every time I find it at events and send it to my family.” Sounds intriguing!
