The Origami Butterfly Looks Cute ♡

✅ Easy to make

✅ Three-dimensional and eye-catching

✅ Auspicious

✅ I thought it would be cute placed on wedding tables...!

Here’s an introduction to my idea ♡

It’s an origami "butterfly"*

Butterflies are considered auspicious motifs that "bring happiness."

I thought it would be cute if placed gently next to a torchon flower...!*

<How to Make an Origami Butterfly>

① Fold the origami into a triangle.

② Fold the triangle diagonally.

③ Fold it in half.

④ Open it up and fold both sides of the triangle inward along the crease to create a small triangle.

⑤ Fold the triangle in half.

⑥ Cut the ends with scissors to round them (these will become the butterfly’s wings).

⑦ Open it up one step from the small triangle and fold the bottom corners towards the top point.

⑧ Flip it over and fold the top point slightly beyond the middle of the base.

⑨ Fold the protruding part to the opposite side.

⑩ Fold the center of the butterfly to finish it three-dimensionally ♡

If you don’t round the wings and cut them just a little, it will look like this.

Using patterned origami instead of a single color is also lovely.

Curious about the Origami Butterfly ♡

The "origami butterfly" is so simple that even elementary school students can make it.

Since it looks cute and three-dimensional, I thought it would be nice to handmake enough for all guests and place them on the guest tables.

I dreamed of making them with small origami and creating a "butterfly shower" instead of a flower shower...!!! ♡
