Previously, there have been ideas where guests select their desired prizes from a "lottery box," but that only allows them to choose from what the bride and groom prepared on the day of the event.
Isn't it a groundbreaking idea to have prizes based on the many voices of "I want this!" collected in advance?
From the guests' perspective, there's a possibility that what they want will be one of the prizes, and
from the bride and groom's perspective, they won't have to worry about what prizes to prepare for the after-party.
It's a win-win idea for both sides♡
Recommended Survey Format♡
For the after-party prize survey, it’s fine to let each guest input what they want,
but asking for "just one thing you really want" could lead to scattered responses, and some may find it difficult to decide what to write.
So, it seems better to make it a multiple-choice format where they can select 5 to 10 items from about 30 options.
If it's limited to just one item, there’s a high likelihood that popular prizes, like “Disneyland” or “meat sets,” will dominate the responses, so having them choose around 5 to 10 would likely create a good variety♩
Additionally, it could be helpful to add a section asking, "If you have any other items you would like, please let us know."
This approach allows you to personally inquire about what they want, and if something emerges that could work as a wedding favor, it might be a good idea to use it as such…!
Prizes Based on Guest Desires♡
I introduced the idea of asking guests about their desired prizes for the after-party through a survey*
This is indeed a groundbreaking idea that seems to have been previously unheard of♩
Guests will surely look forward to the after-party, wondering, “Will the prize I chose be the one used??” So definitely give it a try♡
