"How to Edit Old Photos to Match the Same Background, Just Like from a Photo Studio 20 Years Ago♡"

I Want to Use a Childhood Photo*
Using old childhood photos as props for pre-wedding shoots or displaying them at the welcome area on the day of the wedding is a classic idea for weddings.
It seems that many people use photos from Shichi-Go-San (a traditional Japanese celebration for children)♩
If you use the same background, it will look like you took them at the same photo studio together♡
It's lovely to cut out the subjects from childhood Shichi-Go-San photos and composite them with backgrounds of the same color♡
It feels like you took them together at the same photo studio over 20 years ago...!
You can create a cute, nostalgic photo with a sense of unity, reminiscent of childhood friends♡
It's recommended to use these as reception signs♡
Here’s how to change the photo background.
① Scan the paper photo and convert it to digital data
First, scan the paper photo to convert it to digital data.
For digitizing, I recommend using the app "PhotoScan".
② Cutting Out the Subject
Next, it’s time to make the background transparent, which means cutting out just the subject. (This might be the most important step!)
The app I used is "Composite Photo Studio".
Use the cropping function to erase unnecessary parts like the background.
Once the subject is nicely cut out, save it*
(There are various background removal apps, so feel free to use your favorite.)
➡(iOS) Install Composite Studio
