"Wish Tied Wind Chimes at the Romantic Lanterns: The Adorable 'Harakami Shrine' in Fukuoka Prefecture"
2020.11.29 published
Shockingly Cute Shrine.
In Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, there is an adorable shrine that is charming from any angle.
Its name is "Arahito Shrine." It is the most historically significant ancestor among the more than 2,000 Sumiyoshi shrines across the country and is the origin of the famous "Sumiyoshi Shrine," known as one of the three great Sumiyoshi shrines. (It's like the parent shrine of the one considered the beginning. Isn't that amazing…!)
Despite being such a historically significant and prestigious shrine, the precincts are incredibly cute♡
It looks like this!
You'll want to visit it, right?♡
Wonderful decorations matching the seasons
Arahito Shrine's main highlight is the seasonal decorations on this wooden frame.
Until December 6, 2020, colorful "Koi Bonbori" are on display♡
The sight of various colored bonbori, such as red, pink, and lavender, lined up is truly breathtaking. You'll want to wear a kimono and go out♩
In summer, refreshing "Wish Tying Wind Chimes" make their appearance.
With "Blue Wind Chimes" and "Vitamin Color Wind Chimes," the decorations change with the summer season, allowing visitors to enjoy variations each time they go♡
During the Shichi-Go-San season, there’s a gorgeous umbrella photo spot. Even if it's a bit far, you'd want to visit Arahito Shrine for the Shichi-Go-San celebration*
Cute charms and Goshuin♡
The love charm has "Love" written in English. Having English on a charm is such an innovative idea…!
A place you want to visit when you go to Fukuoka♡
Recently, there are many cute shrines across Japan, but Arahito Shrine showcases traditional seasonal decorations like bonbori and wind chimes (without promoting characters, and not overcrowded with signs!) that are cute without going overboard, which I think is wonderful*
Perfect to visit when you travel to Kyushu, want to boost your luck in work, or just want to go to a cute spot♡
Be sure to check it out♩
