What kind of brand is 'quarant'otto'?

Although 'quarant'otto' is based in Florence, the designer is a Japanese woman named Aika Fushimi.

After training in a specialized workshop for metalworking, stone setting, and design in Florence, she established 'quarant'otto'.

By the way, 'quarant'otto' means 48 in Italian.

Because she didn’t want to include her name or personal feelings in the jewelry, she named the brand after the address of the apartment where she was living at the time, aiming to create jewelry for those who wear it rather than for herself!
