Like a Craft! Beautiful "Takaoka Ramune"
A childhood candy that everyone has eaten, ramune.
When you hear "ramune," what shape comes to mind?
This time, we introduce a ramune that will surprise you with its delicacy and intricate design, almost like a craft.
The product is called "Takaoka Ramune."
It is made by "Ohnoya," a long-established wagashi shop with over 170 years of history in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
Adult Ramune with a Focus on Ingredients ♡
"Takaoka Ramune" is made using a "wagashi mold" that is also used for rakugan and others.
They sought to create nostalgic and easily accessible sweets for everyone, leading them to "ramune."
The ramune made by Ohnoya differs from regular ramune in its ingredients.
While typical ramune uses potato starch or corn starch, "Takaoka Ramune" focuses on texture and uses rice flour made from Koshihikari rice from Toyama Prefecture.
No artificial flavoring is used, and they focus on local ingredients such as apples and plums from Toyama Prefecture, insisting on using only domestically sourced items.
Developed after much trial and error, "Takaoka Ramune" is handmade by the wagashi artisans at Ohnoya.
A Heart-Throbbing Package with Traditional Patterns ♡
"Takaoka Ramune" is also known for its stylish packaging.
The colorful traditional patterned packaging is so appealing that you can't help but want to pick it up.
They aimed for "cuteness that can be enjoyed by young women who love fashion while appreciating Japanese culture."
Enjoy a Gentle Taste ♡
