DIY Cloud-Like Mirror: The Trend of Form Mirror DIY From Overseas

The trend of mirrors is amazing.

With the boom of Korean interior design, various designs of mirrors have been trending recently.

I found another new mirror that seems like it will become popular soon...!

This is a mirror covered with a thick white frame.

Apparently, it's called a foam mirror.

This unique mirror is named "foam mirror," derived from the word for bubbles.

It originally originated overseas (in Europe and the U.S.), but has become popular in Korea, and is just starting to gain attention in Japan♩

Anyway, it has a strong presence.

It’s shocking to see a mirror that draws attention more to the surrounding decoration than to the mirror surface itself!

But as I keep looking at it, the irregular cloud shape starts to look cute♡

It seems like you can DIY it with materials from a home center.

Surprisingly, it seems everyone is DIYing and making their own foam mirrors.

The necessary materials are:

・Mirror

・Foam polyurethane spray

That’s all you need.

Foam polyurethane is an insulating material made by mixing a foaming agent with a resin called polyurethane. It is used for insulation and soundproofing in buildings, as well as for filling holes in walls.

It's not something we encounter often in daily life, but it's available at home centers and online shopping.

The DIY method is simple: lay down newspapers, cardboard, or rubber sheets under the mirror, and spray around the mirror to shape it.

After that, just let it dry for 2-3 hours, and it’s complete.

The making process also looks like it could be fun♩
