Unique Wedding Cakes from Abroad ♡
International cakes keep coming up with new designs, and it’s never boring to look at them.
Some of them are so surprising that you might think, "How did they come up with that?"
Today, I’m going to introduce a unique cake that you won’t find in Japan.
This is a cake called a “Line Cake”!
The design makes it look like strawberries are peeking out from inside the cake.
It’s amazing that the strawberries aren't just stuck on the surface, but are actually recessed well inside!
How is a Line Cake made?
I found a site that explains how to make a Line Cake!
You prepare two large un-decorated whole cakes and one small cake with strawberries on the side.
Stack the three cakes so that the strawberry-decorated cake is in the middle, creating a three-tiered cake.
Then, spread whipped cream on top to fill in the gaps.
This creates a mysterious design where the cross-sections of the strawberries peek out!
Finally, decorate the top of the cake and the edges of the cross-section to complete it ♡
Once you know the trick, it’s surprisingly simple!
You can make it cute with any fruit!
Upon searching, I found various Line Cakes made with different fruits ♡
A lemon Line Cake gives a refreshing impression!
Lime looks stylish too!
The atmosphere changes depending on whether you decorate the top and edges in gold.
A pineapple Line Cake has a fun vibe.
It would surely draw cheers if such a wedding cake appeared at a summer or resort wedding!
There are Line Cakes besides fruits!
I also found Line Cakes that don’t use fruits.
This design reveals a packed biscuit filling.
Here’s one with chocolate!
It's irresistible for chocolate lovers.
A Line Cake with buttercream roses peeking out.
It has a rare and elaborate design, resembling a work of art ♡
I want to see a Line Cake in person ♡
I’ve introduced one of the unique cake designs from abroad, the Line Cake.
I haven’t seen it in the Japanese wedding scene yet, so I really want brides-to-be to challenge themselves to try it out!
If you want to be particular about your wedding cake, don’t hesitate to ask your planner, "Can you do a design like this!?"
