"Mastering Cooking with This! Have You Heard of the World's Lightest Cast Iron Enamel Pot 'Uniloy'?"

Good but Difficult to Handle.
What comes to mind when you hear "enameled pot"?
Famous brands like Le Creuset and Staub come to mind. I think many people have the image of "stylish appearance" and "used by people who love cooking," alongside the impression that they are "heavy."
I used to own an enameled pot, but it was heavy, and taking it out of the cupboard was a struggle. Getting it out, washing it, and putting it away again became a hassle, so I ended up giving it to my mother, who loved it when she visited.
This "good but heavy and difficult to handle" image of enameled pots might be about to change...
The Lightest Cast Iron Enameled Pot in the World is Here in Japan!
There seems to be an enameled pot in Japan that defies the conventional wisdom of "heavy" enameled pots.
It is made by a company called "Sanjo Special Casting Co." located in Niigata Prefecture. Originally a company focused on manufacturing precision machine parts, they decided, "We want to leverage the technology we have developed to create our own products" and "Let's create the world's best product that everyone will love by our own hands," leading to the establishment of their kitchenware division.
The result of this effort is the "World's Lightest Cast Iron Enameled Pot [UNILLOY]." (Cast iron is a processing method that involves pouring molten metal into a mold.)
It took two and a half years to complete. After about 200 prototypes, they created a pot that is half the weight of conventional enameled pots! ♡
Features of UNILLOY Pots*
UNILLOY's enameled pot has a cute, rounded appearance like a macaron.
In 2015, it won the "Best of the Best" award in the product design category at the prestigious "Red Dot Design Award," and it also received the Good Design Award in 2014! ♡
✅ Ergonomically Designed, Easy-to-Hold Handle
✅ Seamless Integrated Design with No Joints
✅ Compatible with IT
✅ Oven Safe
✅ Thickness of 2mm, Thin and Light
These are some of its features.
The thickness of a typical cast iron enameled pot is around 4-5mm. Apparently, making an enameled pot with a thickness of less than 3mm is very difficult, but Sanjo Special Casting Company specializes in manufacturing thin parts for machines. Utilizing their experience and technology, they achieved an unprecedented thinness and lightness with the UNILLOY pot! ♡

Because of its thinness, it conducts heat easily and can heat the contents quickly, making it less likely for the temperature to drop when adding ingredients. It results in crisp frying and noodles that are firm and chewy! *
Here are some reviews from people who actually use the UNILLOY enameled pot. Many commented that it is "just so light and easy to use"! ♡
